I think MJ Hegar is the only real candidate who could generate Beto type levels of excitement and $$, any Senate candidate will have a hard time competing for attention and money with the Presidential race.

Hegar is a great candidate maybe even better than Castro would've been. Great bio and very charismatic with no voting record to attack for being too liberal or whatever. Look at candidates like Mikie Sherrill, Elaine Luria, Haley Stevens, and Spanberger women military candidates especially have done great.

They key to knocking off Conryn is painting him as a Washington Insider and a creature of the swamp, Hegar can do that a lot better than Castro.
