Whew.

Well, here's what I hope to be the entire collection. No sequels and no remakes.

I vote Carrie, Thinner, and The Green Mile. I like The Shining and expect it to do well here, but there's something about those three movies that provokes more emotion for me.

Christine and Pet Semetary are also good runners-up.

Forgetting The Langoliers is scaring the little girl Scotty, shameful.

Dammit.

The malt balls will come for you now with their razor teeth, they'll scamper and take you with the past.

I mean, if the aliens from The Tommyknockers don't get you first!

Anyway:

I chose, Misery and The Mist objectively...and Maximum Overdrive ironically...also, that one was directed by the man himself!

HMs: Stand by Me, Christine, and Shawshank...and the one where aliens go after Christopher Walken....The Langoliers ironically.

Overrated:  - The one where Shelley Duvall got abused, the black dude got killed arbitrarily, and some dude in a dogsuit was doing something.

                 - The one with a high school prom, real early that one

First person to vote for Dolores Claiborne! One of my all-time favorite movies! Why Kathy Bates and Judy Parfitt weren’t nominated for Oscars that year is a travesty. Also voted for The Shining and Misery. If we could’ve chosen four, Carrie would have been mine.

The Langoliers is a 10/10 for concept and a 0/10 for execution. Voted Dead Zone, The Mist, and Shawshank.

The Shining and The Shawshank Redemption are definitely the top two.

I’ll go with Misery for number 3, honorable mention to Carrie. Also like Stand By Me, The Dead Zone, The Green Mile (though kinda overrated), and even Gerald’s Game (underrated) and 1408. Doctor Sleep wasn’t too bad either though nowhere near as good as The Shining.

I HATE The Mist, think it is MASSIVELY overrated. “It” also sucks, both the original and remakes. Same for Pet Sematary, though the original of that one was so bad it’s good.

The list was getting too long. You also have movies like Carrie that have been made three times.
