Since the guy is Governor of Iowa its pretty safe to say he would be the front runner come the Iowa 2008 primary.  Im not to sure how he would do after Iowa?  But if he was to get the nomination I think he would be a fairly strong candidate considering his stances on alot of issues are fairly moderate.

(in the poll I basically selected the only 6 candidates I see having any shot at getting the republican nomination in 2008.)

I totally forgot.  Im assuming he could at least beat Bill Frist.  Afterall, you have said Bill First would be defeated by just about any democrat or something along those lines.

After he got nothing but vetoes done last year and has completely ruined our state's economy, he thinks he can run for President?

Well, at least he'll win Iowa. (Nussle2008 Smiley )

that's a good thing!

i think there are way too many laws.  instead of passing more, we should be repealing some of them that are already on the books.

Santorum and Frist for sure, but otherwise it's up in the air.

Vilsack went to my school. He was class of '68. I think all of them except Frist and maybe Coleman or Owens could beat him.

Allen, Santorum, and Sanford.  Owens has a shot, Frist and Coleman no way.

He vetoed some laws lowering property taxes, making private school tution tax deductable, and even opposing naming libraraies after certain people [no, Hoover was not one.]

He did these because Republicans passed them. He, like many Republicans also, is a blantant and blind politician like his partner in crime the "honorable" Senator Thomas J. Harkin.

tom harkin is obviously insane, and quite frankly, an embarrassment to the state of iowa.

vilsack is a decent man.
