We cannot afford to elect someone who is not in good health.
Especially if they are morally bankrupt.

Is anyone reporting this beyond obvious scumbags like Fox News and the NYPD?
Did you just call the NYPD scumbags
I believe he did. And on 9/11 of all days. Much shame.

Guys, don't turn a fly into an elephant ...

She was only fainting at an emotional ceremony.

That's not "terminally ill".

This happens all the time: when we visit the graveyard at All Saints Day, each year people are fainting and collapsing. Politicians are not exempt from that.
Because she's never been to a 9/11 ceremony before a sitting NY Senator for 7 years after 9/11 or anything. Come on now.

Is that video even real? The person seems sketchy and is saying yes to everyone who wants to use his video. Seems suspicious.
Not sure, but I know the area and that's across from World Financial Center or whatever they are calling it today. The Secret Service agent that opens the door has been on the Clinton detail. I think the clothing matches to what she was wearing in the other videos, etc.

Clinton gets heat exhaustion in 90 degree weather in full dress cloths. Trump doesn't pay people, runs scams and rapes people, who is worse?

The question is not about who is worse, but who is fit to be president.
Hillary clearly isn't due to her health problems. She should drop out and the Dems should appoint a new nominee.
Oh how I love it when "blue" avatars are Hillary supporters. Like that woman has ever really been nice to a Republican.

I hope Illary Clinton is feeling better and stays in the race.

Fake conservatives like you are the reason why the party is likely going into permanent second class party status. Hatred and racism won't win nationally and as older people die off it makes it even harder to win statewide across the country.
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Hillary Clinton is not and never will be a friend of any member of the "vast right wing conspiracy" a/k/a a Republican.

Holy sh**t, the polarization on this forum is getting bad. Why are so many red avatars mad that this thread even exists? Can't report anything that could be negative about her? There's an automatic dismissal and then a turn of subject to Trump. And (some) blue avatars shouldn't be acting like medical consultants either. Jeez.

I mean this is definitely thread-worthy, but my beef with a lot of folks in general regarding this is that they seem to forget or possibly don't even realize how hard a 18 month long presidential campaign is, and she's old, with known but managed medical issues. Serving as president will not be as physically taxing. People are acting like every little cough, tick or twitch is the biggest deal in the world and it's annoying as hell to read on a daily basis. She's old, and old people have problems like this. Get over it for christs sakes (not directed at you fyi)
I disagree with you about the strain of being President. Many a President has gone grey prematurely while serving in the White House. It's not an easy gig.

Hillary's health should be an issue in this campaign. It directly impacts whether she can properly do the job. (Blue avatars already know she can't on an ethical level.)

Seriously?, I pretty clearly stated "will not be as physically taxing" - Of course the president works a lot and has high levels of stress, but campaigning for this long is way worse. There is an enormous amount of traveling and the like. She isn't a spring chicken anymore, and she has thyroid issues that have a common side effect of easily causing overheating. So one shouldn't acknowledge these managed issues but then act surprised if she has issues during a year-and-a-half-long presidential campaign.

And again, this is what bothers me about this whole ordeal - Partisanship makes people, especially people on the opposing side, act as if it's a bigger deal than it really is because they are so eager for there to be a disqualifying problem that will improve their candidate of choice's odds.

You might say Clinton supporters are biased as well, and to varying degrees that is true, however I acknowledge she has some issues but to me they aren't disqualifying. I'm not sitting here acting like a doctor, concocting all sorts of theories about how she is deeply unwell or what have you. At any rate, it's irrelevant to me because there is not a chance in the world I would ever vote for Trump. If something happens to Clinton, Kaine takes over, and he's a good man in my eyes. Problem solved!
I am well aware and I disagreed with your premise. You can't really take a vacation day off as President. Even when you are vacationing. It's grueling and has made many a man (to this point) look a lot more haggard once they leave office.

I would want my President up to the job physically, Democrat or Republican. There's a reason they tried to hide the FDR polio stuff. A President needs to project virility and power. Fainting spells make them look weak. Ask two-term President George H.W. Bush what happened after his throw-up incident in Japan.

I am not saying that's the reason Bush I lost. (Read my lips no new taxes had a lot to do with that, amongst other things), but it was fodder for comedians for weeks and delegitimized him and the office.

It was about 75 degrees F in NYC this morning. Her staff made no attempt to cool her down, take her jacket off, offer her water, etc.

This is not a simple case of being "overheated."
Agreed. "Overheated" is bulls#@t. If she's overheating, someone, somewhere would have gotten her a glass of water or something.

So after playing at armchair medics we are playing armchair secret service too.

Outside of Atlas, I am not seeing any hysteria anywhere (not surprising), so I'm expecting this to fizzle out with the general public.

Per the WaPo:

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

It is also unusual for a detail leader to leave the protected individual's side, as a Secret Service agent, Todd Madison, is seen doing in the video, to open the van's doors. Opening the van is the site agent's job, according to the former agent; the detail leader's proper position is next to Clinton. The agent may have had little choice given the rushed nature of the departure.[/quote]

I guess they didn't have the car on standby. Nor could they really given the circumstances, but an interesting read for those that were speculating earlier.

Calls NYPD scumbags on 9/11, what a nice person!

The NYPD are scumbags. Maxwell said nothing wrong.
Just wow. I hope you don't ever need to call 911.

Was the NYPD scumbags when they were rushing up the WTC towers on 9/11 15 years ago today to save the lives of innocent office workers?

In case you were in any doubt about Seriously's (and Ljube's) actual motives in this thread:

It's a whisper campaign about her health. Kind of nasty, but I am not complaining. Make people think that she's unfit to be President.

What a pair of embarrassing deplorables.

Agree.
And of course, Seriously will continue to post bulls**t about her health.
Same with Ljube.
Bullsh**t like her having a "medical episode" right on camera. Gotcha.

I'll gladly accept the moniker of being a "Deplorable," if it means that I am against the most corrupt political family in the US getting back in power.

Deplorable Seriously? -- a former member of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" (that exposed Bill Clinton for the scumbag liar that he is).

Why would I feel bad?

Pneumonia is a very serious illness for the old and infirm. It takes many a life. She should rest for a few months and get better, preferably until sometime after the election.

P.S. I never believe the Clinton spin machine.

So where do we go to get our apologies for being called conspiracy theorists?

Sincerely hoping for a speedy recovery.  I don't want to see a election in my country go uncompeted in the last two months.
The first of not ever from these folks. They'll continue to shame you for wishing their candidate gets well and takes the time needed to get back on her feet.

Now that it comes out that Clinton had pneumonia, the Republicans look really stupid

I wouldn't say all "Republicans," but more like the trump supporters who are categorized as "deplorables."
And yes .... this would definitely include Seriously and Ljube.

We look stupid how exactly? The woman has health issues. The campaign denied it. Despite those denials, she was caught on camera very infirm getting into a van.

I am not sure how the Clinton campaign's actions make Ljube and I "deplorables."

Seriously you are one big scumbag.
You refer to Clinton as "Illary" and you basically hope she is sick and you start saying things like "taking her life."
And with your disgusting attitude towards someone who is ill, and to make fun of them for it, it's disgraceful.
I hate to say it, but its people like you in our society that if you were to suddenly disappear and leave us, you would not be missed and we wouldn't give a damn.

You are obviously making assumptions here. All of the statements I made above are truisms.

Pneumonia is one of the biggest illnesses that claim the lives of the elderly.
If you have pneumonia and you are a senior citizen, you have to take that seriously.
If Hillary Clinton wants to get healthy, she should rest and listen to her doctor's orders. This is not something you beat right away, especially if you are older. It's tough enough to deal with when you are younger.

I never intimated that I was rooting for her to die. That's an obnoxious assumption on your part.

Your candidate is a fascist so Hillary has no choice but to drive on, pneumonia or otherwise. The republic is at stake
Gotcha. My "fascist" candidate, who may or may not have been going to the 9/11 Memorial as of last night, forced Hillary Clinton to: 1) not disclose she had pneumonia and 2) go to an event that Trump may or may not have been at, otherwise, she'd be ridiculed.

Again, how are Hillary Clinton's health problems Donald Trump's fault? Are you saying that your candidate doesn't have the stamina to keep up with him? I'm confused by this line of logic.

You making fun of someone, ANYONE, by calling them childish names like "Illary" is what makes you a "deplorable."
Why in your little brain would you think that it is acceptable to make jokes of someone, ANYONE, when they are ill ?
Actually it makes you, personally, look like an assh**e !
There it is ! Are you happy now ?
Try and defend yourself on making fun or jokes about someone when they are ill. I cant wait to hear your response and defense for this.
(Mods don't delete this. You know Seriously deserves a lashing for his disgusting attitude on this topic.)

Ya. I see. Don't worry. I won't report you to the moderator police like you leftists do when you see something you don't like. I don't play that game.

Perhaps if your candidate were candid with the American people and not trying to actively cover up these instances when she is not 100% healthy, you'd get more empathy from me. But that's not going to happen here.

Like everything else the Clintons do, they try to hide from the truth and attack and disparage those that seek to find it.

I do find it ironic that your candidate -- as pneumatic as she was -- was healthy enough to malign good, hard-working conservative Americans on Friday night though.

If Donald Trump wrote our health care policy, millions of people would die from pneumonia every year.

Besides, if you think Hillary Clinton is "unhealthy", what evidence do we have that Donald Trump isn't a bacon cheeseburger away from a heart attack?  That bogus letter that he obviously wrote?

Honestly, Donald Trump looks terrible.  He is overweight and discolored.  He looks jaundiced.  Maybe he has skin cancer?  If he is elected, he will completely screw up the country and tank the economy, and then he will die and we will have a president who thinks that smoking is good for you.

Republicans should be ashamed of themselves.
Trump seems to have no problem working 14 hour days, hosting rally after rally in cities throughout the country, fielding media request after media request and balancing a healthy personal life without even a hint of slowing down, as has been his nature in building his company.

I see you avoided the question ; no defense.
Which means you agree with my "harsh assessment" of how you portrayed yourself to look like.
How dare you make jokes ("Illary") about ANYONE who is sick.
I asked Ljube this same question : How would you feel if someone were to say that about one of your family members, like your mom or dad, brother or sister ?

Is Hillary a relative of yours? If so, I'll think about an apology. And not give you one because of how deceitful your family has been in this whole ordeal.

You "Proud Moderates" had a field day when George W. Bush choked on a pretzel and his father threw up in Japan. So save me your faux outrage. I highly doubt that you cared about how the Bush family felt.

The bottom line is I don't need a defense. Hillary Clinton is a public official and it's politics.
