The two old major competitors in aviation. Which one do you prefer?

Obviously I prefer Airbus, especially after latest developments with Boeing. Seems like the European company is producing the better/safer planes.

I like the big Airbus. Is it the A380?

That thing just plows through the air making it the smoothest form of transport in human history.

Airbus today, tomorrow, and forever.

EDIT: Unfortunately Southwest uses all Boeings. Oh well.

Aviation was one of the few things I actually still found myself being somewhat 'patriotic' about in the past, but 'alas... If I had any upcoming flights, I'd probably opt for an Airbus all things being equal for the foreseeable future.

Yes. A380 is an amazing airplane. I had the privilege to travel to New York and back via A380 last October. It's absolutely massive.

When it comes to purchasing a new generation of VLAs (very large aircraft), I expect the Airbus A350-1000 to be edging out the Boeing 777X in coming years, and all thanks to Boeing getting greedy and trying to find short-cuts so as to maximize their sales at the expense of safety.  It is only the 737-MAX that has had these issues so far, but I expect every Boeing aircraft to be coming under the same shadow of distrust going forward.

Airbus, which makes me feel pretty ashamed to be American given that our planes are literally liable to fall from the sky.

I PREFER to stay on the ground. Of course, I have to vote for Airbus because that's who the little woman works for.

I sure like my planes without the doors flying off.

Airbus.

The decline of Boeing is very sad. Airbus also proves that government ownership and oversight does not stop a company from making innovative and great products. A large part of Airbus is state owned across several Europeans countries and Airbus doesn't essentially own their regulators like Boeing did the FAA. I think these are the principle reasons why Airbus has succeeded as of late as Boeing has declined.
