Do Democrats get their Senate supermajority in 2018 or 2020?

Are you drunk? The 2018 map is brutal. Tester and Manchin are DOA.

But the dems should at least get a senate majority by then, right? It’s not like they’ll lose Bill Nelson or anything.

Eeeh, maybe. It's not like they're suddenly going to start winning seats in places like Alabama to compensate the deficit.

That makes as much sense as Steve Russell losing re-election or Democrats suddenly winning SC-1.

That has got to be one of the single most shocking election results of the past decade. Were there any signs at all that he could be in trouble?
