I agree that he's clearly rich enough to survive this and exaggerating, in which case he's shamelessly lying to relate to the peasants. I thought his advantage over Romney was being an authentic working man.

And he's also raising a new generation of bigots through homeschooling, which makes him a horrible father to me either way.

Agenda confirmed!

So the man takes responsibility for educating his own children and he's a horrible father?

Everyone knows homeschooling only produces children who cannot adapt to society.

I didn't mention any of those homeschooling stereotypes but nice deflection. Do you really think Santorum isn't "indoctrinating" his children with his beliefs in the same way he castigates public educators for doing? Unless they're smart enough to rebel, they'll be horrible people (socially and politically) just like their father and he's to blame.

Again, it wouldn't be an issue if he didn't attack public education so vehemently. Smiley

Horrible according to who? You? Politicians attack all kinds of things when running for office. It's what makes politics- politics. He's conservative on education and attacks the public education system in order to make his side look all the stronger and the Democrats would do the same thing by attacking the lack of equality in education between classes if they were running. This is politics.

Also by placing himself in the position of a struggling parent he's relating better to the average folks. Clinton was notorious for this in 1992 by talking about living off of $25 a week for lunch but didn't mention that when he was living off of that $25 was alot of money.

Presumably he finds indoctrination contrary to his faith as objectionable.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it. First you condemn Santorum by not subjecting his children to school indoctrination, then you tell them that unless they rebel they are horrible persons.

Wouldn't they be equally horrible with public school indoctrination?

I hate Santorum as much as anyone, but he's just bitching about the price of college for 3 college students.  That's a legitimate gripe that lots of Americans have.

So he's continuing to squander their futures knowing he has no chance, and publicly whining about it. Another unsurprising moment from this disgusting man.

Santorum recently slammed Obama for wanting to have more people to attend colleges and universities.  So it is ok that his children go to college now ehh?  Typical conservative hypocrite.  However it doesn't make him a terrible parent

That damn conservative. I'll tell you what those kids would've been better off had the government just came right in and done it their way. See this is what we're up against in the election folks. We gotta get these liberals out of office.

Stop trolling.

No, he slammed Obama for wanting much more people to attend college AS IF IT WAS THE ONLY OPTION. Santorum generally agreed with this comment but said that learning a  trade, going into work, or enlisting in the military should be options as well.

Well now that's not taking things out of context or anything. All Santorum is doing is using his own family to relate to people in today's world regarding college tuition. This is similar but not exactly like Bill Clinton using his own personal finances in college to relate to people years later in 1992. No one ever said anything about wanting to prevent people from going to college or wanting less people in college. He simply referred to Obama's attitude towards it. Your liberal mind sees and hears what it wants to see and hear though and you blabber out whatever the Democratic Party thinks of for you. Now you see why I tend to vote rather Republican at times.

Yea guys get it right and stop taking things out of context in order to persuade people to vote Democrat!
