Idk, Ducey may not be in a very good position to run based on his Covid repsonse.

Doesn't mean it can't or won't turn into a real race against someone who's currently not a big name, especially in a Democrat midterm.

If he ends up hurting with the Republican base too, he might not end up being the frontrunner for the Republican nomination. AZ's Republican Party has a habit of tossing out incumbents and de facto incumbents that way.

If Kelly wins this year, what do you guys think that his re-election chances will be in 2022 for a full-term?

Depends on who the President is, and what their approval ratings are.

If Biden is the President, Kelly is the underdog, but the race is winnable. I'd have it as Tilt R.

If Trump is still President, it probably doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate, Kelly will win reelection. I'd have it as Safe R in that scenario.

remember after trump won all his supporters would say "she lost get over it" well MCsally is literally the definition of "she lost get over it"

Also ducey upside down due to covid, and is taking multiple hits daily from Sinema(who has gone on to become the most popular politician in Arizona despite McSally's attacks) Ducey seeing his Senate prospects go down every day.

McSally raised 9.3 mill but spent 8.5 mil last quarter which is why she essentially has the same COH as she did at the end of last quarter. Kelly who had twice the COH has expanded to having 2x the COH +4mil

I wonder if she's spent a lot on the direct mail fundraising scam that people like Allen West were doing back around 2011-12.

$24 million to $11 million CoH, good Lord. Kelly could (and probably should) keep at least $5 million or so in reserve for 2022 and be fine.

Looking at the county websites, it seems neither of the Libertarian write-in candidates here have received enough votes to get onto the November ballot.

No need for McSally to skip any meals since she is constantly with her foot in her mouth.

She might as well go for the gusto and ask her supporters to donate all their grocery money.

It's interesting how the Republican businesswoman interviewed in this segment, who looks to be about the same age as McSally, singles out this latest move on McSally's part as an "act of desperation." The latest poll we have from Arizona shows her trailing Mark Kelly by 19 points! Now, McSally is not going to lose by anywhere near that margin in the end, but it's clear that she's on the ropes. Her position is a perilous one, and Arizona voters seem poised to reject her a second time this November. She has consistently proven herself to be a terrible candidate.

August: "Fast a meal."

September: "I'm way behind. Skip a mortgage payment!"

October: "You don't need that medication today."

Nov. 2nd: "Even if the gauge is sitting right on E, your vehicle can still go on for miles. You can wait 'til tomorrow to fill up!"

Was McSally ever a good candidate? It seems she is crashing and burning this cycle.

It's really sad that the GOP has nowhere left to go for votes but asking poor whites to literally starve themselves and fork over their last dollar to fund the Conservative-Industrial-Grift Complex.

McSally narrowly won Arizona outside of Maricopa. A huge reversal from 2012 when Jeff Flake won Arizona  due to Maricopa County but lost Arizona without Maricopa.

This time McSally will lose both Maricopa County and the remainder of the state outside of Maricopa.

Obviously McSally is trying to act like Trump, because she desperately wishes she were polling as """"""""""well"""""""""" as he is.
