After jumping up to $3.07, the gas is back down to $2.93.  Still higher than the $1.97 earlier this year though.

We're down to $2.72 now.  Still 75 cents higher than at the beginning of the year, but 30 cents cheaper than May.

This week has been a strange one so far.  On Sunday, the gas prices were $2.62.  Monday, they were $2.79.  Tuesday, $2.73.  I'll have to check on the way home tonight to see what they are today.

Last week I was down in Orlando, and have two separate prices to list:

Gas station #1:  $2.74
Gas station #2:  $4.39!!!!!

If you are wondering, Gas Station #2 was right next to the airport where you had to return the rental cars.  If you return the car with less than a full tank, they charge you $6.00/gallon.  Gotta love it!

Gas prices are down to $3.29 over here.  That is an 80 cent drop since last month when the executive order barring off-shore drilling was lifted.

Down to $1.54 today, though one of the stations actually raised their prices to $1.59 (maybe trying to capitalize on holiday traffic?).

Down to $2.03 in San Francisco. I'm not altogether sure that I can even remember a time when it was below $2/gallon.

This is about the same price in San Fran as it was back in December of 2005.  As far as being below $2.00, you have to go back to January of 2005.  link

It hasn't even been four years? Feels like it's been an eternity. Smiley

hahaha . . . many people are already forgetting how high gas prices were, and that was just this summer.

Nope, all the $1.54 stations are now up to $1.59.  I guess that the price dropped too quickly in this area.

Down to $1.49 this morning.  I knew we would get under $1.50 before Christmas.  Now the question is . . . how low will it go?

$1.65 baby!  Filled up an empty tank and got change back on $20!

That's an awfully small gas tank.  Tongue

For the first time ever (that I've seen) the non-ethanol laced gas was cheaper than the laced stuff.  1.47 vs 1.52  I'm not sure why.

The cost of raw resources and production...
