Number 3:

1. I have been on the local news multiple times

2. I have been to multiple college football games

3. I have a Black Belt in Martial Arts

Numero Uno (btw, for me the lie wasn't #3 - I actually did go for such a tour whilst visiting India in 2019 - but rather, #1).

(Somebody else can post 2 truths and a lie.)

Its actually number 2 as while I wanted to go to a college football game , sadly I never have so far. I was too young from 07-14, didnt find anyone who was interested in 15/19 and 16-18 I kinda lost interest in College football and obviously 20-21 couldnt go due to COVID.

Number 1 is true, though one was a cameo and the other was basically a reporter talking to us during a wind event.

SKIP

I see. I knew you're a big fan of the NBA/basketball so I more or less assumed that might carry on to other sports as well.

1. I know the exact day, month, and year in which the Battle of Sempach took place
2. I have cooked soups for myself before
3. I can say "I can't speak Japanese" in the Japanese language

You know a lot of Japanese, so I'm guessing 3 is true. I will guess number 2 is the lie.

(Somebody else can post their 2 truths and one lie - I'm happy just guessing.)

1. I currently have a pet fish
2. I can dunk on a 8 1/2 foot tall basketball hoop
3. I have made a diss track before

The lie is 2? Could be any of them.
1 is the lie, though I used to have a pet fish, though he died in October of 2020

1. I have been in the same building as Pete Davidson at the same time
2. Someone has tried to start a fight with me today
3. I am signed up to take 3 AP courses next year

Number 1 for sure.

The lie is actually 3. I went to the Syracuse basketball where Pete Davidson was also in attendance and got booed for saying the city of Syracuse was trash. I am signed up for 2 AP courses next year (Seminar and World History)

1. I have a large number on both sides of my family in North Carolina
2. My bedroom walls are orange
3. I told a kid I slept with his mom today

Pete Davidson is cringe. He's the same moron who a.) made an utterly despicable, disgusting, insensitive and unfunny comment and b.) helped the NRCC hold TX02 in 2018 when he decided to make fun of Dan Crenshaw's eyepatch.

As for this one, I would hope the lie is 3.
The actual lie is 2, but I did 3 as a joke to mess with that kid because he's talking trash to me every day in school for the past two weeks. He's in most of my classes, and he does it at just about every chance he can get. My bedroom walls are actually sky blue.

1. I have lived in a house other than the one I currently live in
2. The video game I played the most recently is Minecraft
3. I have never been outside of the land that comprised the original 13 colonies

1) I've personally met Frau Tengellman (CEO of the Tengelmann Group)
2) I spent 13 weeks in jail for a BAC 0.90, until my mom bailed me out
3) I spent 6 months in an abandoned shoe factory in Macedonia

3 is the lie? Whichever the lie is, you've certainly gone through some interesting experiences!

Actually it is 1. I know the year and season The Battle of Sempach took place (summer 1386), but not the precise day and month.

I'm going to say 3, but 2 seems pretty outlandish as well

1. I've never had Chipotle before
2. I've only been to three landlocked states
3. I am the shortest person in my family.

I'm going with 3 being the lie, for Greg's post

1. My grandfather fled from Malaysia to avoid having to pay for a party he had to organize for the king
2. Boutros Boutros Ghali saved my uncle's life after a motorcycle accident
3. My great grandfather was nominated for a Nobel Prize

I'm going to guess 1

1. My personality is fragmented and these fragments are semi-autonomous in thought
2. I play D&D at a social group at a mental health organization
3. Omori fanfics are like 90% of the fiction I've read in the past year

That one's actually true, but he did come back after a few months
The third one is the lie, or more accurately very dubious and unconfirmed family legend

1. I can name all 47 prefectures of Japan from memory.
2. A majority of the bread I eat is without condiments on it.
3. I can say the numbers, 1 to 10, in Chinese.

As a sidenote, has anyone seen Japanese prefecture flags?

Pretty wild.

2 is the lie.  Bitch, do I sound like a loser who drinks and drives?

Actually 1 is a lie too, I actually googled it and didn’t realize Helga Haub (a gracious woman who I’ve met at several functions) isn’t actually the CEO of anything, but an Heiress.  And a YUGE supporter of Americans in Germany.

So my original poast should be forfeit.
The lie is 3. I am taller than my mother. The landlocked states I’ve been to are PA, VT, and WV.

As for Punxsutawney Phil, I’d say 3 is the lie, since I believe he is very interested in Japanese culture

3 is correct. Note, I can read Chinese numbers, but I can't say them. Actually, I have known how to read Chinese numbers for most of my life at this point. The characters themselves are the same in both Japanese and Chinese. I know the Japanese readings, but I do not know the Chinese readings of them.
I do have a lot of interest in Japanese culture and that has helped motivate me, indirectly, to keep all prefecture names memorized...

Nope, #1 was the lie. I played squash for a couple years when I was a kid, but not after age 10 or so.

I’m pretty sure you’ve said elsewhere you’re an only kid (99.9% sure that you are), so that’s probably a truth.
And IIRC you said earlier on in this thread that no. 1 is true, too.
So I’ll guess 3 is the lie, and Science isn’t your strongest subject? (For me right now, it’s actually my weakest subject - my grade there is significantly lower than my grades in all my other classes - it’s a B-, whereas my other classes are all in the A-range except for a B+ in Spanish. It’s also ironic because in 6th grade, it was my strongest subject - I literally aced all my tests, and in the third quarter had a grade higher than 100%, without having to prepare - whereas now, after strenuous note-taking, and after bringing a page of notes to the test, I got a 69 on the first Science test. And in 5th grade, my teacher referred to science as my “strong suit,” though that was because my mother helped me vigorously prepare for my science tests that year, and I aced most of them.)

1. Went to Disneyland/Universal in LA last weekend.
2. I have four cousins altogether.
3. I’m learning Geometry in math this year.

3? Sitting next to the President seems less likely than meeting one of 435 Representatives or the son of one of 100 Senators.

1. Went to Disneyland/Universal in LA last weekend.
2. I have four cousins altogether.
3. I’m learning Geometry in math this year.
You said you were in LA last weekend, and Geometry lines up with your age and grade, so I'll say 2.

1. I wrote and recorded an EP in early 2021, but never shared it due to it having abysmal microphone and mixing quality.
2. After the 2016 United States general elections, the second election I followed as it happened was the 2017 Dutch general election.
3. I've slept on an ocean liner on multiple occasions.

Wrong; lie is number 3. I am taking Algebra 2 / Trigonometry this year, since it’s possible to be on an accelerated path at school, and I qualified to be on it at the end of 5th grade (so starting with 6th I’ve been on the advanced path). Interestingly, if on the regular path, as I understand it, 9th graders would study Algebra 1 and 10th graders, Geometry. As for my cousins, I do indeed have exactly four first cousins - two on my father’s side (they’re nine and six years older than me); two on my mother’s side (they’re six and eight years younger than I).

I’m going to take a shot in the dark with yours…number 2 is the lie??  For some reason I’m fairly certain 3 is the true, and I’m more or less undecided on whether 1 or 2 is the lie.

1. One of my grandmother’s brothers resides in Nebraska.
2. I am named after my father’s cousin.
3. One of my grandfather’s cousins lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It’s actually 2! I did compete against Teddy…and he won. He’s actually pretty good at extemp from what I remember, he def did well in several tournaments. Would have been even more of a crazy question if we competed against eachother in Columbine High School’s library (he wasn’t at that one, not many were)

As for 3 it happened in 2018. It was on a flight to DC, we think it probably was a last minute one to McCain’s funeral on his part (yes it was commercial, that makes it even more odd tbh) She hadn’t slept the night before and…was super snappy that day so yeah she kinda yelled/was rude at who she thought was a random stranger but actually was Joe Biden. The other guy in the row was a suck up and kept talking about how much he appreciates him and asking questions but at least he didn’t yell ig lol. Yes she apologized, yes he accepted it. Don’t be rude to strangers until you see their face. She also told me later that week she thought he looked super old and would never be able to be president. Oops.
