So much talk about the middle class. How about some talk about the lower class? I guess a black candidate can't go there.

Well, there are only two classes when it comes to American politics these days:  The middle class and the wealthy.

'middle class' is a euphemism for 'working class'

I thought middle class was a nice way of saying poor? I thought we had successfully gotten rid of that "middle class" that existed in the 1950s to 1970s.
