Honestly, I'm very ready to bail on Facebook the second something better comes along.  It's like it's trying to become more and more like MySpace (i.e. less and less like a site I have any desire to have anything to do with)

The band you fellate constantly, MGMT, had a myspace before they blew up. In fact they've had one since 2004. Every trendy, popular band you will be listening to in the future will have had a myspace for quite and possibly could have secured record deals due to popularity on myspace.

I think all that this proves is that you guys don't know anything about the current music industry.

I don't like either. I do occaisonally use Facebook, I don't really for MySpace anymore for "interacting", but I do look at a lot of band pages on it and bulletins and whatnot so it still has its purpose.

Facebook, though I don't use it that much except to keep in contact with a few people and then see what other people that I went to school with are up to in their lives now that I don't talk to them much anymore.
