For some reason, a rift grows between the Obamas and Kamala Harris. Biden doesn't run and Michelle decides to, trouncing Harris easily in the primary. Michelle/?(Buttigieg maybe) wins the general against Trump/Noem.

Hochul wins the Democratic primary for Governor in 2022, defeating Cuomo. Biden doesn't run and makes no endorsement in the primary. Many candidates run for the Democratic nomination and Harris' lead slips away with Hochul narrowly winning the contest. She then wins the general election against Trump.
