Nice updates. I'm looking forward to the 2004 Democratic primary. But no doubt McCain wins reelection.

Likely by a bigger margin than Bush did IOTL.

And it was after Saddam Hussein was captured, more precisely just five days later, that Gadaffi’s Libya agreed to dismantle its WMD program.

For Iowa, I predict Russ Feingold wins.

For New Hampshire, Howard Dean will likely finish in the top 3 finishers as this state neighbors his home state of Vermont.

With Graham and Gephardt dropping out of the race, McCain's chances of re-election have further increased.

This nomination is between Feingold and Biden. While Feingold won IA and NH, the primaries more in the South like South Carolina may be more difficult for him and more favorable for Biden or Southerners like Landrieu and Sieglman.

As for Howard Dean, he never really had so much momentum in this scenario (unlike IOTL) as he ran as an anti-war candidate in a time in which the War on Terror is on the right track with Bin Laden killed and the Iraq War better being handled.

Just wondering, what's the unemployment rate thus far?

Interesting how both of the final candidates are people who considered themselves close friends of McCain. This probably means the election will be significantly more civil than irl 2004.

Indeed, though the Super PACs might do the job of attacking the candidates for the candidates they raise money for with Feingold being the only Senator to vote against the Patriot Act after 9/11 and Biden having voted against Operation Desert Storm. But indeed it would also be good to have a more positive campaign than IOTL.

If Feingold is the nominee or the VP nominee, I guess that makes his senate seat more competitive. Which candidates does the NRSC have in mind to recruit to run for Feingold’s seat?

IMO, Reagan was one of the best Presidents in the 20th century. God bless.

I predict that President McCain will win Pennsylvania again due to his maverick stance and ability to appeal among independent voters. After all that's the state that brought him over the top in 2000 and incumbent Presidents who won their re-election bids usually win by a higher perfornance in the popular vote most of the time. In addition it was in Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania that Flight 93 that was hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorists crashed due to the passengers taking on hijackers while the target was either the White House or the U.S. Capitol on September 11th. And under President McCain, Osama Bin Laden was eliminated.

Fact Check from the debate : Biden is wrong to say that he has not been in support of every single free trade deal that has come up in the past. In 1993, he voted in favor of NAFTA.

It's no secret that Biden is a flip-flop.

Good thing that tort reform passed. And what about medical liability reform?

So even at that time, Trump was among the rare Democrats opposing tax increases.

McCain saw through Putin better than most leaders today. No wonder that he said that when he looks into Putin's eyes, he sees three letters, KGB.
