re option 5: the DRC seems like definitely the worst country in the world to live in (worse than any of these)

I eventually opted for Somalia and Afghanistan. I'm under the impression that Somalia is ever so slowly being rebuilt from its "failed state" status, and Afghanistan, well...

The other two were simply so bad I couldn't choose them.

Somalialand* seems to be not horrible....or at least not as horrible as the other options.  I'm sure one could find a corner of Afghanistan that isn't sh**t too.

Voted Syria (as long as I'm in a stable Loyalist zone), but otherwise would vote North Korea.

Tough choice but probably there are some African states worse than any of these (DRC and Zimbabwe are the most obvious answers).
