Whitmer is overrated as a national candidate for sure. She comes across as a stereotypical "elitist liberal"

My goodness. Unless they are disloyal to Trump, Republican voters don't bash their own politicians like this or even care how they are perceived.

It sucks that Republicans can be as terrible as possible but if a Democratic politician says something maybe slightly "elitist" (whatever this means) - it's suddenly the end of the world.
