I fail to see how this would change his issues in any meaningful way. He'd be switching from one service designed to elicit an emotional response without changing his entire life with it to another that would do the exact same.
The normative behaviors he would try to emulate would be a little bit healthier. I doubt that even in their greatest moments of irony the hipsters consume the sorts of food Bushie's church serves. And, of course, he'd have to get up and move around a bit. Religion is not all about thoughtful contemplation.
