This is no more than pandering to those who want to put the region above the nation and whims of the masses above the law.

Sadly the federal attempt to provide some regions with more representation than is due has caused this crisis, it is obvious New Mexico does not belong in the Pacific Region, where it does belong is in question, but when New Mexico votes to leave the Pacific, New Mexico should be allowed to leave.
