I'm sure he got a few Q loonies involved with politics for the first time by voting for Trump and becoming feverishly loyal to him. But yeah on the whole he was a disastrous surrogate who cost them votes.

Probably in 2016 since there were slivers of the public consciousness that probably still saw him as "America's Mayor".

But in 2020 as Trump's biggest legal advocate? Absolutely not.
