All of the above. The meaning in our lives is that we are given the opportunity to create a meaningful life. So, in a sense, it has meaning in that we have life, and we know that, but to literally know what life is all about is impossible.

It may sound strange to say that all the statements are true, but if I took the time I could make an argument for each one. In brief, we already know the meaning intuitively, even though not literally and we can chose to create meaning, but we can also chose to believe that life has no meaning and by doing so end an endless search for truth and just live the life that we have.

If none of this makes any sense, then here it is in short. I am not going to spend my life searching for the meaning of life, because if I do I won't be able to have a meaningful life.

If any of this makes sense, then perhaps you are as nuts as I am.

I believe life does have meaning, and a very obvious one at that - to grow up, reproduce, and continue the human race through your children. Otherwise life has no real meaning.

Your life only has the meaning you choose to give it. If you are asking about the reason life exists as a whole then that would simply be so that the universe can have a hope of existing even after it eventually disappears. Life's end goal is really nothing more than finding ways to adapt and exist as long as possible whether it be through reproduction, true immortality or any other possible means.
