Timeline pro tip, use inspect element on Trump's actual twitter. Highlight the text of one of his tweets, right click, inspect, and then you should be able to edit the text on the right hand side.

Nominees Argue in First Debate, No Clear Winner is Dubbed

While Senator Bernie Sanders was praised for quick comebacks and his "Feel the Bern" passion, Susan Collins was praised for clear economic strategies and rebuttles to the Obama administration. While not a single poll claimed Roy Moore the winner, his presence did put clear stress on the other two candidates. This chaos led to a three way circus as the three opponents belittled each other with small remarks and no clear organization.

Lester Holt: Good evening from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. I'm Lester Holt, anchor of "NBC Nightly News." I want to welcome you to the first presidential debate. The participants tonight are Bernie Sanders, Susan Collins, and Roy Moore. This debate is sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. The commission drafted tonight's format, and the rules have been agreed to by the campaigns. The 90-minute debate is divided into six segments, each 15 minutes long. We'll explore three topic areas tonight: Achieving prosperity; America's direction; and securing America. At the start of each segment, I will ask the same lead-off question to both candidates, and they will each have up to two minutes to respond. From that point until the end of the segment, we'll have an open discussion. The questions are mine and have not been shared with the commission or the campaigns. The audience here in the room has agreed to remain silent so that we can focus on what the candidates are saying. I will invite you to applaud, however, at this moment, as we welcome the candidates: Democratic nominee for president of the United States, Bernie Sanders, Republican nominee for president of the United States, Susan Collins, and American Independent nominee for president of the United States, Roy Moore.
Susan Collins: It is a pleasure to see you Bernie, Roy.
Bernie Sanders: Pleasure to see you to Susan. Roy.
Lester Holt: Good luck to all of you. Well, I don't expect us to cover all the issues of this campaign tonight, but I remind everyone, there are two more presidential debates scheduled. We are going to focus on many of the issues that voters tell us are most important, and we're going to press for specifics. I am honored to have this role, but this evening belongs to the candidates and, just as important, to the American people. Candidates, we look forward to hearing you articulate your policies and your positions, as well as your visions and your values. So, let's begin. We're calling this opening segment "Achieving Prosperity." And central to that is jobs. There are two economic realities in America today. There's been a record six straight years of job growth, and new census numbers show incomes have increased at a record rate after years of stagnation. However, income inequality remains significant, and nearly half of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Beginning with you, Senator Sanders, why are you a better choice than your opponents to create the kinds of jobs that will put more money into the pockets of American workers?
Bernie Sanders: Well, Lester, thank you very much. We need to focus on distributing our disastrously unequal economy. All of the wealth in this country is going up to the one percent. By taxing the wealthy, the ninety-nine percent can have more money in their pockets in order to afford daily life. In the past thirty years, trillions of dollars have flowed up from the middle class to just one tenth of one percent of the upper class. It is unacceptable and we have to change it. Furthermore, to create jobs, we need to bring back infrastructure to the US. It is disgusting how the roads and bridges in this country are falling apart. For far too many years we have allowed our infrastructure to collapse and under a Sanders presidency we will create jobs in order to rebuild America as it stands. I can promise that.
Lester Holt: Senator Sanders, thank you. Secretary Collins, the same question to you. It's about putting more money into the pockets of American workers. You have up to two minutes.
Susan Collins: Thank you, Lester. Now, the decline of unemployment has become stagnant under the Obama administration. We cannot allow these economic policies to continue on for another term, or we will continue to not have job growth. I agree with senator Sanders that we need to create jobs repairing the infrastructure that has fallen apart these past eight years. We also need to invest in job training, so that college graduates are prepared and can get jobs right out of college. I would also like to add that we need to stop manufactures from moving jobs overseas. We need to keep the jobs here in America so that Americans can earn the money they so rightfully deserve.
Lester Holt: Judge Moore, same question, how are you better than your opponents to create jobs in America?
Roy Moore: I’m a better choice because my two opponents are absolutely wrong. American jobs are under attack. Our government has allowed manufacturing jobs to flee this country while at the same time allowing murderous immigrants in. We need to create jobs protecting our border and enforcing the laws in this country that are so easily avoided. We need to give Americans jobs protecting our streets. I surprisingly agree with these two Democrats that the infrastructure in this country has gone to hell and needs to be repaired too--
Lester Holt: Secretary Collins? Would you like to respond to this?
Susan Collins: Well, just because I’m a moderate doesn’t make me a Democrat. If you want to speak technically, I am the only Republican here. I’m also the only person on this stage that hasn’t switched political parties in the past two to three years. I’m not using my party because I couldn’t run as an independent, and I didn’t disown my party because I couldn’t stand a woman in power. Unlike Judge Moore, I’m a proud Republican that is willing to get things done. I’m here for Republicans an--

Roy Moore: Coming from you. I think it’s incredibly rude to be a communist in this proud country called America.

I'm surprised Moore is even leading in states like Mississippi or Louisiana. That would mean Collins is getting a very low percentage of each states Caucasian Vote which i doubt if she is also leading in South Carolina and Tennessee.

Moore Campaign Takes Heavy Hit After Vice Presidential Debate, Sandoval Named Winner

Former Senator Tom Coburn took a heavy amount of criticism following the vice presidential debate, as his praise of President Obama was antithetical in terms of the message behind Roy Moore's campaign. Brian Sandoval walked away from the debate as the clear winner, with viewers stating he had a clearer and stronger message than New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

Elaine Quijano: ...By coin toss, it’s been determined that Governor Sandoval will be first to answer the opening question. We have an enthusiastic audience tonight. They’ve agreed to only express that enthusiasm once at the end of the debate and right now as we welcome Governor Brian Sandoval, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and former Senator Tom Coburn. Welcome. It truly is a privilege to be with all of you tonight. I’d like to start with the topic of presidential leadership. Twenty-eight years ago tomorrow night, Lloyd Bentsen said the vice presidential debate was not about the qualifications for the vice presidency, but about how if tragedy should occur, the vice president has to step in without any margin for error, without time for preparation, to take over the responsibility for the biggest job in the world. What about your qualities, your skills, and your temperament equip you to step into that role at a moment’s notice? Governor Sandoval?
Brian Sandoval: Thank you Elaine, it’s great to be here tonight. It’s also great to see you here as well Kirsten and Tom, thank you both for being here. I want to thank my family and I want to thank everyone watching this debate. I finally want to thank Susan Collins for allowing me to be on this historic ticket. This election is taking place in an important part of American history. The economy is rough, we’re facing threats from terrorist, and climate change is occurring. On top of that, we need extensive health care reform, and the middle class is being taken advantage of. The people want and need change. American dreams are being crushed, it’s not possible to work hard to afford daily life anymore. Our youth today can’t afford to put themselves through college. I’m here tonight to inform everyone that Susan and I want to bring dreams back to all Americans. My parents immigrated to this country, we didn’t have a lot when I was young. I worked hard and put myself through law school and was appointed as a judge. When the recession hit in 2008, my home state of Nevada was hit the worst. I stepped down from my position and ran as Governor, and I helped to improve the lives of those in Nevada. Secretary Collins picked me to join her because of my experience of helping out Americans.
Elaine Quijano: Senator Gillibrand?
Kirsten Gillibrand: Thank you Elaine, and thank you to Norwood University and the Commission of Presidential Debates. I want to thank Bernie Sanders for picking me as his vice presidential candidate, and I want to thank my family and the American people. It’s great to be here with you both tonight, Brian and Tom. In 2008, we elected President Barack Obama and Vice President Hillary Clinton to save us from a horrific economic recession. With Vice President Clinton’s senate seat open, I ran in a special election and filled that vacant seat. Everyday since then I have focused on improving the lives of Americans, and now it is time for our country to make even more progress than it has in the past seven and a half years.
Elaine Quijano: Senator Coburn?
Tom Coburn: Thanks Elaine. I’ve already thanked Roy Moore for allowing me to join him on this ticket, and we’re ready to bring real conservative values back to America. I’ve been both a member of the house and a senator. I also share a lot of values with Judge Moore, we need to spend money on our military and stop spending it on hoaxes such as climate change. We need to stop the murder of our unborn children and protect the sanctity of marriage.
Elaine Quijano: Now, Senator Coburn, you have stated that you share almost all of the same values with Roy Moore. Judge Moore has been a critic of president Obama throughout this election cycle, even bringing up whether president Barack Obama’s birth certificate is authentic. How can you reassure voters that you hold conservative values close while being friends with the president?
Tom Coburn: Well- well, sometimes politics and political parties aren’t everything. President Obama is a great man, and, well, i’m glad we elected him. I can still say that even though I’m a conservative. Roy Moore may view the president differently than I do, but we’re still both conservative. I think the president has done many good things for this country.

Debate Polling:
Brian Sandoval - 42.4%
Kirsten Gillibrand - 37.6%
Tom Coburn - 12.8%

October 7th, 2016: Several Women Accuse Roy Moore of Sexual Misconduct

Nine women have come forward and accused Roy Moore of sexual misconduct. Every woman has stated that Moore has had a sexual relationship with them in some form while they were between the ages of 16 through 22. Most of the incidents were said to have occurred in the 1970s. While Roy Moore himself has made no statement about the claims, the Moore campaign has refuted all nine claims.

Moore will still attend the second debate. With current polling it seems unlikely that he’ll be invited to the third debate.

Sanders remains quiet, wins second debate

Not saying much, Senator Bernie Sanders managed to walk away the winner from the second debate. Former Secretary of State Susan Collins constant remarks about Roy Moore didn't sit well with her base, and the judge's insults and remarks came off as childish and rude. With the backlash from this debate, the Moore campaign has sunk in the polls and the Alabaman judge will not be invited to the third and final debate.

Martha Raddatz: ...Ladies and gentlemen the Republican nominee for president, Susan Collins, the Democratic nominee for president, Bernie Sanders, and the American Independent nominee for president, Roy Moore.
Anderson Cooper: Thank you very much for being here. We’re going to begin with a question from one of the members in our town hall. Each of you will have two minutes to respond to this question. Secretary Collins, you won the draw, so you’ll go first. Our first question comes from Patrice Brock. Patrice?
Patrice Brock: Thank you, and good evening. The last debate could have been rated as MA, mature audiences, per TV parental guidelines. Knowing that educators assign viewing the presidential debates as students’ homework, do you feel you’re modeling appropriate and positive behavior for today’s youth?
Susan Collins: Well, thank you Patrice. I’m going to assume that you are a teacher, yes? Amazing, thank you for caring so much about this country’s youth. Now I have heard a lot from parents about some of the things that are being said and done in this campaign. America is going through a rough time right now. Our country is politically divided, and we have an administration that is not doing anything. This country is facing a lot of threats, from economic threats, to terrorist threats, to many more. Our children are paying attention to this. I want our daughters and granddaughters to grow up knowing they can become anything, even president of the United States, and I want our sons and grandsons to grow up to be respectful young men. We cannot elect someone who is known to have relationships with little girls. We have to put our children first, because they are the future.
Anderson Cooper: Secretary Collins, thank you. Judge Moore, would you li-
Roy Moore: Well, the reason the first debate could be considered MA is because we have these two abortion loving, religion hating democrat communist on the stage. We need to make sure our youth have morals, and we need to bring back real American values to this country. America’s youth is very important to me.
Susan Collins: Important enough for you to date some of them.
Anderson Cooper: Senator Sanders? The question is how do you feel you’re modeling appropriate behavior for today’s youth?
Bernie Sanders: Unlike my two opponents, I don’t attack on identity politics. What Judge Moore has been accused of is disgusting, and in my personal beliefs he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the White House, let alone the presidency. Today’s youth have been treated so unfairly by wealthy elites, like those who support Secretary Collins. We need to make college affordable just so our youth can have a shot, because so far this country has chained any chance of our youth having an affordable future.
Anderson Cooper: Judge Moore, it is quite clear that the accusations made by several women towards you of having relationships with them when they were minors, is worrisome. Do you have anything to say in response to these accusations?
Roy Moore: I don’t even know any of these lying women. I don’t recall having any relationship with these liars, and if I did, it would’ve been well over thirty years ago. This is just some attempt to-
Susan Collins: A reply like that is why someone like Judge Moore is not fit for office. These are teenage girls we’re talking about. That’s pedophelia-
Roy Moore: So we’re just going to let this broad continue talking?
Anderson Cooper: Secretary Collins, it is not your time-
Susan Collins: That is the language that is tainting this election. That is incredibly rude and-
Roy Moore: She continues.
