It is looking like former Detroit police chief James Craig will be the first Black Michigan Republican governor's nominee against incumbent Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Who will get more Black female votes? Whitmer, a white woman? Or James Craig, a Black man?

Whitmer got 90% of Black female votes in 2018.

If Craig got 10% of the African American vote total that would equate to uhh, maybe 6-7% of Black women voting for him. So It'll clearly be Whitmer, even you believe so.
