Perot got 24% of the vote in Montana in 1992. Obama's narrow loss in 2008, when he got 47.1%, was much more impressive than Bill Clinton's "victory" with 37.6% of the vote. And Montana has never had problems with voting for Democrats for Senate and Governor, so not much has changed on that level.
