I'd say he's sort of a moderate Democratic, left on most economic issues and center to center-right on most social issues. My guess is that both she and her husband were previously fairly conservative Republicans who backed candidates such as Bush, McCain, and Romney though she was more of a social conservative while her husband was a standard business Republican. Their political views began to diverge in 2016 when her husband voted for Marco Rubio in the primaries while she backed Ted Cruz. While both despised Hillary and Obama, she favoured Donald Trump while her husband's dislike of protectionism and right-wing populism caused him to support Gary Johnson. By 2018, her husband was favouring Democrats in the midterms while she had become fully converted to Trump due to his pro-life record. She intended to donate to some key Republican candidates such as Rick Scott, Cruz, and others but stopped in order to avoid conflict with her husband and since technically he had earned it. Soon enough, she began following QAnon pages on social media and became an ardent believer in it due to her protective attitudes towards children further reinforcing her right-wing tendencies. Their views had fully diverged by 2020 when her husband voted for Biden while she voted for Trump.

Is this supposed to be a Wernher von Braun type? I suspect given his Third Reich background (despite his sympathy to certain Jews), he was a pragmatic German nationalist and anticommunist in the Thirties who was willing to back the Nazi regime if they successfully pursued the goal of restoring German power. Probably a fairly consistent anticommunist Cold War Republican from the Forties onwards once he arrived in the US.
