Since you're not using the later very often, does that mean you pick Cantor?  Wink

Gosh, I hope it isn't Romney. Apart from the fact that he's a very disagreeable character, picking him would make it impossible to use Biden's words against Obama.

if he is feeling particularly ballsy, he may pick a woman in a (desperate) attempt to get hillary supporters in his camp.

The only GOP woman he may go with is Hutchison - Dick Morris was predicting that the other day which doesn't give me much hope for a McCain/Hutchison ticket.

Still hoping for Crist, Lieberman, or Ridge though.

I'm sticking with my Romney predication but I would prefer the names TD just listed. I can't see Pawlenty doing much help to the McCain camp.

hutchison has some skeletons...namely being indicted in 1993.  i know she beat it, but who wants to take time to explain that?

Pawlenty seems to be pretty incompetent, Romney seems to be the polarizing flip-floping elitist... Cantor seems like the best pick and Portman is for when McCain is just begging to become Bush III.

It is a tough call between Romney and Pawlenty.  I am going to stick with my original choice -- Romney.

Romney, though Pawlenty's actions have me second-guessing.  He's campaigning in Pennsylvania and Ohio this week, which I don't really understand Governors doing while still Governor unless they're planning on not being Governor for very long.  And he's been very tight-lipped about his prospects of being on the ticket.

Maybe he's auditioning. Smiley  It would be interesting to see some clips of him on the stump.
