Unless we cut something else, we would have to get the money from tax revenues. Would those not in coastal areas be as supportive as using tax dollars to protect the coast? Could we implement a tax only to coastal areas? In what ways to the areas of the coast benefit the rest of the region? Our ports are on the coast and we get oil off the coast. Is this a necessary cost of doing business here? Would this cause people to ship their goods to other parts of the country instead of here?

End To Capital Punishment Amendment:

Article VI, Section 39 will be added, which will read: No individual may be sentenced to receive capital punishment for any regional crime in the Southeast.

I was reading over the Constitution. Section 32 states:

I wonder if your amendment would be better if added to this amendment.

Any further discussion on this? Else we'll leave it as is.

As (acting) governor I am putting the forth the following Initiative:

Restoration of the Amendment to Protect Human Life
Initiative 132, the Constitutional Amendment to Protect Human Life, shall be restored.

(Initiative 132 reads:
Article VI, Section 1 shall be amended to read: "All individuals are conceived equally free and independent; therefore, all government of right originates from the people and is founded in consent." )
