I maintain Blue Atlasia's hysteria over the conservative ideology of the nominees is ridiculous. The Court will be conservative as long as the country remains conservative; if the country moves left, the Court will do the same.

The hand wringing by the Right over Souter and all that ignores a crucial fact...the Court tracks the mood of the country pretty well. Wherever the country goes, the Court will do so.

Manchin and Coons have already said they will push for a full vote, and now McCaskill is joining them:

We should have a full confirmation hearing process and a vote on ANY nominee for the Supreme Court.

So that's three Democrats for cloture so far, with five more needed if there is a filibuster.

Edit: Nevermind on McCaskill, she was just being confusing. Looks like she's still for the filibuster.  She followed up with this tweet:
