I've read some shady stuff about his military record along the lines of what Eric Greitens did (greatly exaggerate what he did as a SEAL). It's mostly just blogs and twitter stuff but I wouldn't be surprised if the media picked up on it, if someone is smart enough to push it to them.

Scandals matter when everyday people can understand them. Affairs, taxes, emails but this stuff is inside baseball. Petition gathering seems low on the list of what people would understand or care about.
