DanielX is kind of right, but the Canadian Conservative Party is much more liberal than the Republicans. Some provinces might adjust, but B.C. would not be swing - it would be about as Democratic as Ontario, according to polls.

Alberta would be closest, according to the poll I saw, voting Kerry, something like 56-44.

I've never understood how they created that map. It seems almost as if they pulled it out of the blue or something.

Also, why is it that the U.S. states are bulked together but not the Canadian provinces?
