For reference, here's the 2016 result by county:

(HRC/DJT)

Carlton 46-45
St Louis 51-40
Lake 47-45
Cook 56-34

What margins will Biden (or Trump) carry each of them with?

He could as well win the whole state.

If he couldn't win them in 2016, he definitely won't win them now.

I can't see Biden doing any worse here than Hillary. Trump probably doesn't win any "new" county here (i.e. while he holds counties like Itsaca and Koochining I don't think he flips any of these four).

No lol, he has a higher chance of losing Itasca than he does of flipping any of those counties you mentioned, in this environment.

There is no way Trump is improving his margins here, in 2024 with Kamala at the top of the ticket, I feel like there will be the fall of Iron Range counties.

Biden will easily win all four of the counties you listed.

So it seems like the answer is no new Iron Range counties. Honestly mildly impressed Carlton and Lake hung on.

LMAO @ Limo thinking St Louis would flip. You do realise where Duluth is yeah?

I'm impressed Biden held the Iron Range and even expanded the D margins there. Thought the district polls indicated that Trump was doing even better in the Iron Range this year than in 2016.

More or less neutral, 2-3 points swing in St.louis and 1 point swing in Lake. Carlton and the rest swung against him while Cook zoomed towards Biden.

Didn't St. Louis still had a bunch of mail votes to count though?

It has 10% more, but mail in votes might just cancel out in MN , rural voters generally use it more.
