Failed to check it for typos, but this does feel like 1992...

He put 1992 Committee instead of 1922 Committee.

He'd probably be able to do that if he's allowed to stay on until a leadership contest is done.

Incidentally, the current holder of the shortest serving Chancellor record, I believe, is Iain MacLeod, who died after a month in office in 1970.

Yep, it's over. Losing nearly half your government in 48 hours is just plain unsurvivable.

If we get Ben Wallace, can we make a reference to Wallace and Gromit?

Wallace isn't running, so we'll have to come up with some other titles.

Abortion is considered a conscience issue - a free vote would be allowed.

Can I suggest "Strong and Stable IV" as part of the title?

I've seen multiple pictures of Sunak brandishing a brief case in such manner.  Is this a tradition of some type?

Yes when the Chancellor presents their budget.

They're traditional ministerial boxes. Lock from the bottom for security reasons. Every minister gets one.

A supply and consent arrangement might be best.

I would point out that the Chancellor lives in Downing Street, just like the PM. And in fact lives the flat above Number 10 as every PM since Blair has preferred to use the bigger one above Number 11.

Johnson in 2019 got the highest popular vote for any party since 1970.  A lot has changed since then.
