I really regret not hitting Wisconsin and Indiana while I was in Chicago.  Literally could've just stayed on the Metra and hit both.

I'm unsure of a couple states, but I think this is accurate. Apparently, those states total to 293 electoral votes.

90% Red = Lived in
50% Red = Visited
30% Red = Driven Through
Green = Layover

...I admit this makes me look very judgmental.

Impressive for a 20-something with no car and little money.

And yeah, Seattle, NYC, St. Paul are on my bucket list. Almost been to: Wyoming, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Michigan

Red - states I've lived in
Green - states I've visited

Shading indicates how often I've visited the state in question

Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Illinois, California, and though it's not a state, it's still worth including the District of Columbia.

Following up on a thread from last year:

Red >50% = states I've lived in
Red >30% = states my parents have lived in since I moved out
Blue >50% = states I remember spending at least a night in
Blue >30% = states I've been told I have spent a night in (but I was too young to remember)
Green >50% = states I've visited by road but haven't spent a night in
Green >30% = states I've switched planes through but otherwise have never been in

I'll turn Arkansas Blue >50% on Saturday, which, by my count, will be the 30th state I'll have spent at least a night in.  By the end of the year, I hope to have Washington State Blue >50%, South Carolina Green >50%, and North Carolina Blue > 50% Smiley

If I don't end up getting the flights to Panamá I'm hoping to buy today, my backup is to turn Tennessee and Kentucky Blue 50% and West Virginia Green 50% for spring break.  I also hope to turn Washington state Blue 50% this year, too Smiley

Lived in.
Actual travel destination.
Been through on the way to somewhere else or as a short side-trip, but not the main destination.

All of them except Alaska and North Dakota. Picked up my 48th state, Delaware, last summer, when Dan and I drove to Mathews County, VA to visit where the Dunn clan began in the US in the 18th century, which from the Hudson Valley took us through Delaware briefly.

Not enough.

Edit:

Green=States I remember living in
Blue=States I remember spending the night in
Red=States I've been to, but never stayed the night in.
Light Green: States I've lived in, but was too young to remember.
Light red: States I've been thought that I was too young to remember. Not sure which ones I stayed the night in.
