Yes, I added the 2024 margin graphic. Every so often I make a few edits to previous chapters (mostly spelling and grammar), but I've had a bout of writers block, so I decided to occupy the time by creating a proper graphic for 2024 (since that is the 'critical' election which really gets the story going).
The margins are very eerie, basically 2012-2020 trends cranked up massively.
A few highlights-blue states states like VT, CT and the PNW swung heavily red (Oregon 48-43!)
Texas being a pure tie. The Castro pick for VP makes sense, but it's fascinating that the entire election hinged on a few thousand votes in texas. Although I'm surprised that Newsom didn't do better in CO/NV/AZ.
Wisconsin, Maine and NH going to Carlson by near double digit margins. IA a 20 point blowout!
