Nice Weather is probably lean GOP after all, but Joaquin has to be Dem, it includes the outer bay area, Napa valley, Sacramento, Monterey, all Dem areas.

Let's break into a few catagories

Democrats get screwed because extreme blowout Dem in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Bay, and so on doesn't help them in the other places.

I seem to have lost a state, oh well.

Reasonably solid Dem (13):
North New England
Boston
South New England
Long Island
New York
Jersey
Philadelphia
Baltimore-Washington
Detroit
Everglades
Los Angeles
Joaquin
Bay

Lean Dem (4):
North Coast
Land O' Lakes
Wilmaette
Washlaska

Tossup/Unknown (5):
Erie
Cornlands
Atlanta
Delta
Nice Weather

Lean GOP (10):
Susquehanna
Chesapeake
Michiana
Show Me
Ar/Kansas
Pecos
Loving Lands
Rio Grande
Orange
Mohave

Reasonably solid GOP (17):
Alleghany
Sohio
Virgintucky
Wabash
Green Bay
Plains
Pamlico
Great Smoky
Savannah
Okefennokee
Ocalo
Tombigbee
Sabine
Dallas
Houston
Llano Estacado
Rocky Mountain High

The Bay area has about 7.5 million people. Sacramento has about 1 million. Those obviously have to form half of Joaquin, and then there's still Napa valley, Santa Cruz, Monterey.

As for Central Valley, it's not hardcore Republican, anyways.
