Ftr, resume alone doesn't make one automatically "qualified"
Buchanan is a weird example to use here. He was easily one of our most qualified Presidents. He's a much better example to use if you were arguing that
well-qualified does not necessarily translate to
good. Obviously, to be a good President, it's more important to have good decision making skills and policy positions than it is to have good qualifications beforehand. And if there's a candidate who parallels Buchanan this cycle--one who seems well qualified but whose decision making skills and policy positions are questionable--it's definitely Clinton, not Johnson.
