In 2016, a majority of Los Angeles County voters in other cities and unincorporated communities combined voted against marijuana legalization.

I don't have a map, but I know that LA County with just the other cities and unincorporated communities included voted no.

I would imagine that predominantly Hispanic communities still voted for it. Probably Asians against and a slight majority of whites
In unincorporated communities?

Isn't Calabasas known for having a large hippie population?

Idk I usually associate with smarmy rich people but it's not somewhere I'm that familiar with outside of a family member purchasing a used car from someone who lived there.
The band Incubus came from there. They're hippies who even have a comedy song called "We're Smokin' the Herb Again"; sung by the DJ/keyobardist, drummer, and guitarist.

Yeah a lot of those rock bands come from Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Hidden Hills, etc. Most music is not cheap to make or get good at
Bans on plastic bags were passed there in 2011, before bans in many other areas were passed. Styrofoam containers were banned from restaurants there in 2007.

That doesn't make them hippies. SLO and many other places in California had already done that and some of them even vote Republican
Also, Republican leaning Huntington Beach voted for marijuana legalization. Democratic leaning Garden Grove voted against.
