Painfully overrated in modern American political discourse.

Still FF though.

Lower than my opinion of Blair (which is saying something). Did a lot of damage to the country and rather overrated in many respects. Obviously a very shrewd man though.

HP as a person, lean FF as a president, but clearly overrated.

Very likable, but an HP.  An overrated, though not bad, president, however.

HP. Terrible, awful, overrated President that only gets points here and elsewhere because he wasn't Newt Gingrich.

HP.  Only looks as good he does in comparison to the two that came before him and the one (two?) that came after.  Signed us up to NAFTA, cut social welfare spending in a country that already had almost none, and essentially brought about our present situation through his banking deregulations.  Bush's tax cuts for the rich most definitely exacerbated it, of course.

Moderate FF. Decent President in the mold of Eisenhower who took credit for a lot of things (for example NAFTA was largely negotiated by Bush the Greater).

I guess I'm in this camp too.  One of my biggest issues with him was the stopping of aid to Somalia because we lost some special dudes because he wouldn't let them use armor or the proper air support that the men on the ground asked for.  If you're gonna puss out at the first sign of resistence, why even have them there in the first place?  Yes, I know Bush the First sent them, but Bill let them stay until they got punched in the face, then he ran home like a pussy and those men died for nothing.

An above-average but not great president.  Stopped the Democratic Party's slide into presidential irrelevance after three straight blowout losses (1980, 1984, 1988).  Clinton was a better president than his most recent Democratic predecessor, Jimmy Carter.  Carter tends to be underrated but in fairness he was only a middling president.
