"Carly Fiorina Launches Second Bid For White House"
Febuary 20th, 2023

Today, at the Conservative Action Political Committee, Carly Fiorina announced that she would be running for president again. Former CEO of Hewlett Packard who caught fire in the fall of 2016 primary before failing to keep the support in the primaries and dropped out soon after the New Hampshire primary after winning just one delegate. Ms. Fiorina in her announcement speech said, "We need a leader when elected, won't just turn their backs on their promises and goals. I have a proven record of keeping promises and I know I will not back down as president that's why I ran eight years ago and getting back on the trail today."

Carly Fiorina has remained in the background of politics under the Trump administration but has started to crawl back into the public light after sharp attacks on President Biden. Fiorina's team assures that this race will be different than 2016 with the campaign manager, Sean McCort, saying "Carly Fiorina is one the strongest speakers in the race but the problem was no organization and we have already fixed that. Tomorrow, we are announcing our first series of hires to keep us competitive and make sure we can win in 2024"

Ms. Fiorina does have a higher name recognition than some of the lesser-known candidates but is still polling in the lower tier. The campaign hopes that the debates will be her opportunities to surge into frontrunner status alongside Nikki Haley and Donald Trump Jr.

Chris Wallace Interviews Businesswoman Carly Fiorina

Chris Wallace: Like Ambassador Haley, you've been out of the public spotlight for quite some time - but unlike her, you don't have any prior government experience. What makes you think you can win this election?

Carly Fiorina: I know I can win this nomination and then the presidency in the fall because I know that both Republicans and nearly all Americans want an experienced leader who will bring something new to the table. That is exactly why the American people bucked political norms when they voted for and elected President Donald Trump. I feel that the Americans still want something to be shaken up, the government is still not doing what our founders said our government should be doing which is representing the people and their views. When I go to Washington and I move into the White House, I can promise the American people one thing and it is that I won't be doing business as usual. That is the message I'm sharing across the country and I believe it is resonating.

Chris Wallace: You hail from California, one of the nation's most liberal states, and home to some suburbs that have drastically swung against the Republican Party. Do you believe you can win these demographics back for the GOP?

Carly Fiorina: When the suburbs were the strongest in the Republican corner was the 2012 election where Mitt Romney ran on the idea of being pro-business and how he understood small business because he was a business leader. That resonated with these suburbs because many people living in those suburbs either own or are an employee of a small business which is why it is important that Republicans run a business-friendly agenda like I am doing. I believe we must do everything we can to help small businesses by cutting red tape and taxes that are the main cause of death for many businesses starting today. That is the winning message in the suburbs which was proven by Senator Romney in 2012 and that is a similar message to what I am running on today

Chris Wallace: Back in 2016, you were one of President Trump's primary opponents. And unlike your brief running mate Ted Cruz, you haven't been as vocal in embracing the 45th President. Could you clarify for us where you stand on President Trump and his legacy?

Carly Fiorina: I am never going to be the one that will stick by President Trump just because he is a Republican. I believe President Trump was a very good president and help secure economic prosperity for a long time till obviously it was upended. I think the President knew how to lead in a crisis and if he was re-elected, I think he would've actually held China accountable for their actions. Still, I am the only Republican in this race willing to admit that the President made mistakes. I made clear that he should not have done the phone call, I have made clear that he wasn't tough enough against Russian but the thing is, you will never have a president that you fully agree with. If you are going to ask me whether I rather have President Trump or President Biden, Obama or Clinton in the White House today then I would say President Trump one hundred percent.

Chris Wallace: What are your legislative priorities as President, and how willing will you be to cross the aisle and work with Democrats?

Carly Fiorina: I will have to work with Democrats and every other candidate in the race will have to work with Democrats because we do not control the house. That can change but we need to make sure we have a nominee that can work across the aisle if the House remains in Democrats hands. Still, when I work across the aisle, I must always remember my goals and never compromise them. If my goal is to cut the deficit and I go into talks and walk out with a bunch of pork to make congressman look good like always then I would have failed in those talks. I will not compromise, I will seek bipartisan agreement but I will never compromise.

That is something that some of my opponents in this race make me a little nervous and one of the reasons I am joining the fight. Look at Governor Phil Scott, he is trying to play up to conservatives to win this nomination but right when he sits down in the oval office he will compromise his promises which is the opposite of what we need in Washington today. Still, the other way around, Mr. Trump will most likely get nothing done because he won't be willing to find that bipartisan agreement with Democrats. Then if he doesn't get his way in talks he will attack them on twitter which does nothing to better discussion in Washington. I am the leader in this race that will find bipartisan agreement without compromising my promises and my conservative values to get things done.

Now to your first part of your question, my priorities as president are to make the federal government business-friendly. When I'm talking with the small town business owner in Iowa who wants to expand, they constantly talk about their fears of the red tape that could kill their existing business. Red tape and taxes shouldn't be the number one problem facing small businesses and I am going to make sure it's not so most businesses don't die after just five years.

Chris Wallace: Thank you for joining me today

Carly Fiorina: Thank you

"Fiorina To Rearrange Field Staff Away From Iowa"
October 31st, 2023

Politico- Last night in a team meeting in her Des Moines field office, Carly Fiorina announced to her staff that only four staffers will remain on the ground in Iowa through the caucuses. The staff remaining in Iowa will be the state director, state communication director and two field staff. All other field staff will be split between Nevada and New Hampshire. Fiorina's campaign ha strongly invested in an organization in both those states which is one way she is trying to fix errors of her 2016 campaign which had little organization to build on the momentum.

Ms. Fiorina hopes that it will be a blood bath coming out of Iowa that she will mainly stay out of. The goal in the state for her according to her campaign advisors is to once again "win around five percent and a delegate". With a strong presence in the state by Senator Rick Scott, Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Donald Trump Jr., the campaign hopes it will send a mix message to future states like in 2020 and then in New Hampshire, Carly Fiorina can have a strong second or a first-place finish then replicate that to a first-place finish out west in Nevada.

After New Hampshire and Nevada, Fiorina's campaign is laying out groundwork to perform very well in Super Tuesday and has already announced heavy investments in both Texas and California which includes multiple trips to states largely ignored till after South Carolina. After momentum coming out of the early stages, she hopes she can win those two states and other western states that she has visited multiple times.

Campaign advisors did not respond to reports that the campaign plans to remove all staffers from South Carolina and Wisconsin but she is planning staff meetings next week in both states.

Carly For America Advertisment #1
Beating the Odds
Airing in Media suburban markets in Nevada, New Hampshire, California, Texas, Utah

Carly Fiorina- I have always believed that America is too exponential for small dreams and that if you work hard then you will beat the odds. That is what I tell everyone on the campaign trail to do, dream big because if you work hard then you can anything and I am proud to be living proof of that in my own little American dream story. I grew up in a small town, I wasn't born rich or famous and I started as a secretary in a small firm. I dreamed big and I worked hard, that is why I was able to climb up the ladder to become one of the first female CEOs in the fortune 500. Then breast cancer tried to break me down and I once again beat the odds to beat breast cancer. Now, I am running for president of the United States of America and I am ready to beat the odds again and become the first female president. As president, I will make sure that every American will have a shot at the American dream and I will make sure that America remains the best country in the world. I am Carly Fiorina, I have beaten the odds and I am ready to make sure every American can beat the odds!

Carly Fiorina Debate Answers

The Supreme Court, as well as the U.S House, delivered two major victories for conservatives in recent days by rejecting the Green New Deal and Roe v. Wade abortion protections (overturning a 2022 federal law). Do you fully applaud these decisions, or do you believe that more nuance was required?

I would like to say, these decisions are why it is so important we elect Republicans in both the Senate and the White House so we can continue to deliver victories for the nation and for the conservative agenda. Because of our Donald Trump and the Mitch McConnell, we were able to reject the Green New Deal which would flip our economy upside and destroy our midwest. We were also able to restore the sanity of life and restore the ability for the states to actually make decisions for themselves. I fully applaud these decisions because of the Supreme Court, we are fighting against federal overreach and fighting for the sanctity of life on the national stage

Though it's been three years, the influence of the 45th President over the party still remains. Do you believe that Trumpism is a positive force for the party, and America as a whole?

As we saw with the last few major decisions by the supreme court, President Trump's legacy is one that we still see today and is a positive effect on this country. I will be the first to admit that I was not the biggest Trump supporters but he has helped the country for the better and his legacy on both the party and nation have been overall positive. His legacy now includes taking down the Green New Deal and Roe V. Wade while it also includes fixing our broken tax code and helping to bring a business-focused approach back to the government. To that, I say thank you, President Trump!

Unlike your opponents, you've been willing to take a critical tone with President Trump's legacy. With 65% of the Republican Party approving of his job performance, how will you ensure that that doesn't take a toll on your campaign's popularity?

Look, I have been saying this all night, I am not the biggest fan of the former President but his legacy has helped both the party and the nation move to the future. I believe that his supporters do not support just him but support his plans and his legacy which is something I have built my campaign around even if I don't fully agree with the President on his personal life. I believe as I campaign about bringing the government back to the people, I believe Trump supporters will continue to support me because that was exactly his message and what he did in the White House.
