Exactly. The NRA basically boils down to a trade association. Ultimately, they're the lobbing arm of an industry and they care about selling their products. They have no interest in protecting innocent people. It's sad because they were originally a group of people that enjoyed a hobby.
I think America needs to do to the gun industry what it did to the Hummer car brand, associated it with dudes who are overcompensating for having a small weiner.
