Except for mullets.  There was only one mullet period.  And it was cool.  Everyone had a mullet.  There was the party mullet, the camaro mullet, the afro-mullet, the femme mullet, the mexi-mullet, the dyke mullet, and the midget mulllet.  Mulletude ruled from Bakersfield to Boston to Berlin to Bangkok, and all points in-between.  What a glorious time it was.  And it peaked about the time I graduated from high school.  Alas, it faded away, and I suspect it shall never return.

A page from my high school yearbook.

How is that funny? It's certainly not worthy of Goldmining. It's just a bit libertarian-hackish, and that's certainly not worth note nowadays.

No.  Not unless Gordon Brown and David Cameron are revealed to have an ongoing affair with each other that they held in a Trident submarine commanded by a Captain with non-dom status, and used taxpayer money in the coverup.

For reference:

The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country, The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country, The Times is read by the people who actually do run the country, the Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country, the Financial Times is read by people who own the country, The Morning Star is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country, and The Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is. Sun readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big tits.

I'm not sure how many times that Yes, Minister snippet has been posted on this forum before.

And yes, it is funny.

That's the only way I can tell the plethora of British newspapers apart. Why don't they have geographical descriptions?

Because they are all based in London. The Grauniad used to be based in Manchester and was called the Manchester Guardian, but moved south decades ago.

Poor The Independent, circulation is down and not even a mention.

lol, quite.

But the reason why it isn't on the list is pretty simple; it didn't exist at the time Yes Prime Minister was filmed.

Yeah, I found that out shortly after posting.  I haven't watched a British sitcom in a long time.

Last I remember was some old 70s-80s PBS special with a bunch of yokels in some house that I think was a boarding or bed & breakfast of some sort engaging in excessive amounts of tomfoolery.

Lol. I pretty much remember them by ideology. But yes it is largely true.

Ftr, I read the Guardian and the Morning Star.

Same thread:

The juxtaposition involved in the entire thread is too much to handle.

No, the 'Mods' have confirmed otherwise, who do you think you are?

Sending a picture of yourself to Alcon saying "SilentSpade of Atlas Forum" doesn't mean that you don't post from a proxy.

His level of delusion is hilarious.
And of course this is motivated by religion. Atheists seethe with hatred at the pope and any other religious figures who defy their world view.
