Things have changed a lot in 3 months.  From a Giuliani-Romney race to a McCain-Huckabee race?

Michael Dale Huckabee of Hope, Arkansas, will win the Republican Nomination in 2008. But as we know he will not win the Presidency of the United States and will not become 44th President of the United States.

BTW: what's with his populism of late?

Dale? Why did someone have to waste such a great middle name on someone destined to lose elections?

Rocky, he was actually much more of a populist before he started running for President. You kind of have to be to win in Arkansas.

Thanks for clearing that up Rob. It makes sense now having to be a populist to win in Arkansas. I will do some more research into the matter of his populism. It has intrigued me very much today.

Just don't become one. I'm glad to see you are moving to the left on social issues.

McCain (for the first time ever).

This marks four consecutive versions of these polls in which I've voted for a different candidate each time (Giuliani, Huckabee, Romney, McCain)

Huckabee, although McCain has a realistic chance for the first time in months.

McCain, so long as he wins NH, which he should.

Huckabee has way too many hoops to jump through to get the nomination, IMHO.

John McCain. I'm pleased that  the GOP is likely to nominate a pro-amnesty Senator.
