North Carolina, and that's his only realistic chance unless he somehow wins with RCV in Alaska (fairly unlikely, but probably more likely than TX or FL)

I just realized it looks like a torch on its side.

But yeah.

North Carolina, followed by Alaska. Flipping either will be difficult (and Trump is clearly favored in both, as of now) but not impossible. There is a non-negligible chance that Biden carries NC or AK (or both), regardless of what those eager to write Biden’s obituary claim.

What kind of question is this? Obviously NC.

NC from the list…. But realistically, he’s not flipping any states.

It’s Trump who will be doing the flipping with the states he’s presented with.

He won't flip any, but North Cackalacky is the only one that stands even a remote chance of flipping out of this bunch.

Why is Alaska not on this list? It's younger than any of these states, and very diverse too. Biden was the first Dem to win Anchorage in a generation, and if the Dems put any money whatsoever into Mat-Su they'd probably see some decent return on investment. Peltola is also a harbinger that the days of overwhelming Republican dominance in that state are coming to an end.

I actually think Alaska is the second most likely Trump 2020 state to flip (NC is the likeliest), and is more likely than Texas or Florida due to its small population, RCV, and the other factors you mentioned. AK is probably the Rs version of MN right now (a state where a flip would be unexpected but not completely unfathomable).

How is North Carolina not winning unanimously?
