Why are all of the major political analysts still listing this as Likely R?

What is your prediction Miles by the way?

I still think Vitter makes the runoff. Hopefully, if he makes it, he'll have an embarrassingly low level of support. I've heard that Dardenne has got momentum, but I'm afraid its probably too late.

I'd say something like:

Edwards - 39%
Vitter - 23%
Dardenne - 19%
Angelle - 17%

Who are you endorsing in a Vitter-Edwards runoff?

Is Vitter or Angelle more conservative?

P.S. Thanks for being the LA election encyclopedia, Miles Smiley

Does anyone have a list of competitive legislature districts?

As well as a list of which offices are up tonight, just for easy reference.

What? If you want somebody else to win for sure, Vitter needs to get to the runoff.

I know that the results this early mean literally nothing, but Angelle is 5 pts above Vitter according to the SoS Sad

I have a gut feeling that the election day vote will be more pro-Vitter.

That's what I predicted on.

It seems to me that most early votes are from Acadiana which is why Angelle performs so well.

Well, Vitter is ahead now Smiley

I think this is actually my first major election on the Atlas, besides maybe Chicago.

Anyway, yeah, the forum is being annoying.

The margin between Holden and Young looks razor thin. Did the polls indicate one of them would have a significant advantage? How about Nungesser?

It would be a very pretty map if Edwards picks up Bossier, La Salle, Caldwell, and Sabine but everything else stays the same.

Saint Tammany just ruined it...

Vitter's barely a point above now. 22.25-21.14 @ 21:01:06.523

Looks like West Carroll has just become the first one to finish and has (surprisingly) chosen Angelle.

Interesting - there's been huge pro- D demographic change since Katrine in St. Bernard. Even Landrieu carried it in 2014. Back in the 1990's, it was >65% for David Duke.

Looks like ol' Edwards was only 226 votes away from winning it. Sad

Claiborne, Morehouse, and Saint Charles all finalized for John Bel.

And Caldwell goes for Angelle by a mere 130 votes (Vitter in 2nd).
