To your credit you have been very open about your support for the most extreme procedures being done on the youngest of children. And I'm not being sarcastic, I appreciate that you skip the political BS and just put your opinion out there. Most people, however, have been denying the end goal of the normalization of these kinds of procedures being done on children. The strategy has been to take something that is seen as extreme by most people and then depict it as the moderate option by comparing it to something even more extreme that "trust us, we totally don't support." For a while, the line was that no one supports cross-sex hormones on minors, just puberty blockers. Then it was nobody supports surgeries on minors, just puberty blockers and hormones. I've suspected for a while that the next thing would be the normalization of surgeries and physical castration of minors, and apparently at least some hospitals are testing the waters with that.

This is in no way an excuse for the right-wing death threats, by the way. Any gun-toting right-winger who shows up at this hospital brandishing a firearm should be assumed to be a mass-shooter and shot on sight.

Man, I ing wish I had my dick cut off when I was seventeen (even if I ultimately oppose 17-year-olds getting anything outside of a consultation on that front, or scheduling something for after they turn 18). But like I said, pretty much the only way that actually happens is if you're very persistent from a very young age and very lucky, and I was neither.
