This district (which has the most Democratic PVI) deserves better than him. He has been labeled as a PINO (progressive in name only) by RootsAction because although he is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, he has:

  • Failed to sponsor Jayapal's Medicare for All bill.
  • Failed to sign on to the Green New Deal.
  • Supported increased military spending.
  • Failed to support Covid vaccine patent waivers.
  • Taken substantial amounts of donations from the insurance industry (which probably explains some of the above problems).

In this election cycle, he already has a primary challenger who I would gladly vote for if I lived in that district.

while I generally dislike all things sports in Boston, the 70s Red Sox has a soft spot in my heart.
