Turn One
November 1st 2019-December 1st 2019

2020 Campaign Starts
President Trump recives a challenge in the Republican primary while Democrats line up to fight him in the general election

President Trump Approval recieves a bounce
After President Trump launches his 2020 election campaign his approval has started to climb back up

Democrats Call to Abloshish ICE
Democrat Activist call to add abloshing ICE to the party plateform

RCP President Trump Approval Average
Disapprove: 51%
Approve: 39%
Unsure: 10%

RCP General Election Polling
Generic Democrat: 41%
Donald Trump: 39%
Undecided: 20%

RCP Republican National Polling Average
Donald Trump: 54%
John Kasich: 25%
Unsure: 21%

Donald Trump is facing a challenge from former Governor of Ohio John Kasich who has been a vocal critic of Trump since he suspended his campaign four years ago. Trump does start off with heavy advantage, he is very strong in the south and midwest and he has party backing and money which will prove very befintly when facing Kasich. Kasich does have strong support in the northeast and Utah and especially in the crucial state of New Hampshire. Still, Kasich has left a door open to a possible third-party run which could make a Trump win much harder.

RCP Democrat National Polling Average
Joe Biden: 16%
Elizabeth Warren: 13%
Michelle Obama: 11%
Kamala Harris: 8%
Sherrod Brown: 7%
Kristen Gillibrand: 5%
Chealse Clinton: 4%
Derek Jeter: 3%
John Delaney: 1%
Undecided: 32%

The Democratic field is being called the year of the women after five women jump into the field. Still, the leader of the field is Joe Biden who is playing himself as an Obama Democrat and blue-collar Democrat. Biden has a very small lead over both Elizabeth Warren and Michelle Obama who are the only other two polling above ten percent. Warren and Obama are close to Biden and the frontrunners but we must not write off Sherrod Brown, Kamala Harris, and Kristen Gillibrand. All of them have strong polling in one of the first few states and they have made a name for themselves on the national scene in the last three years.

The lower candidates are Chelsea Clinton, Derek Jeter, and John Delaney but at this point, they still have a viable chance at the nomination if they overcome their problems. All these candidates are plagued by a problem. First, Clinton has to distance herself from the Clinton name as many Democrats want to move away from the Clintons after the 2016 loss. Second, Jeter could have been a very good candidate four years ago in the anti-establishment year but Jeter is now running in a year where the Democrats want to experience but if Jeter can prove he is experienced enough to run for president then he could win. Third, Delaney is being plagued by low name recognition but he does have the money to overcome this downfall and he is polling well in Iowa.

Turn 2
December 2nd to Janurary 1st

In the News!

The Race to the Left
As the Democrat Primary starts it seems as it will be the race to be the farthest left

Trump wins Support From Former Challengers
Trump was endorsed by two of his former challengers in 2016, Both Cruz and Rubio put 2016 behind them

New Challenger Enters Ring
Newly Elected Senator from Arizona joins the Election fray

Unsure: 18%

RCP Republican National Polling Average
Donald Trump: 57%
John Kasich: 26%
Unsure: 17%

Trump has expanded his lead after being endorsed by his former competitors showing unity within the party. Trump also won over part of the LGBT community and still, he did not lose the religious vote which many in the media project to happen. Trump did have a set back when a former cabinet member endorsed Kasich. Kasich made large gains in both Iowa and New Hampshire after a very early state-focused approach by the campaign.

John Delaney: 2%
Unsure: 34%

With the exit of Kamala Harris, the fall of Biden and Warren and entrance of Sinema, a large majority are yet to choose their candidate. Obama did make a large gain with African-Americans which has made her the clear favorite in South Carolina. Two rising stars in the Democratic Party also saw a boost this month, Gillibrand and Brown both have launched in polling as they fight each other to be the most liberal. There is also, two other candidates trying to win the most liberal fight but they are far behind. Both Delaney and Jeter were campaigning on progressive ideas and Jeter was endorsed by Sander's supporter Tulsi Gabbard. Many question the weird change in position for Delaney who switched his stance on abolishing ICE which could have hurt him polling wise.

Turn 3
Janurary 1st to Febuary 1st

In the News!

Anouther Candidate lays in the Graveyard of Failed Hopefuls
Elizabeth Warren who once was close to becoming frontrunner is now going back to the senate as she ended her presidential bid this month

Trump changes campaign
Trump who had a decent campaign decided to change up his top staff

Joe Biden is back!
Biden had a bad month of November but before the caucus has had a comeback

RCP Trump Approval Rating

Donald Trump: 44%
Generic Democrat: 43%
Unsure: 13%

RCP Republican National Polling Average
Donald Trump: 59%
John Kasich: 31%
Unsure: 10%

Trump changed his campaign and got endorsements in early states which could help in both Iowa and South Carolina. Trump did make one big mistake, he attacked McCarthy which led to mass representives showing their support for Kasich over Trump which hurt Trump espically in Nevada.

In the Debate, it was a tie because they were playing different games. Trump was on attack but Kasich was just ingorned them and talked about unity and his success he had in Ohio.

RCP Democrat National Polling
Joe Biden: 17%
Michelle Obama: 12%
Sherrod Brown: 10%
Kristen Gillibrand: 9%
Kyrsten Sinema: 6%
Chealse Clinton: 5%
Derek Jeter: 5%
Joaquin Castro: 2%
John Delaney: 1%
Unsure: 33%

After Gillibrand won the debate, she surged and gave much of Elizabeth Warren's support since they have very similar views. Biden also had a good turn with his comeback that helped him pull some of Michelle Obama support away but that might of been since she lost some minority support to Sinema, Jeter, and Castro.

America's Choice 2020: Iowa Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: The first caucus results are coming in now but first, let's talk about the last month of the campaign. First the Republicans, Kasich has definitely improved since Kim Reynolds endorsed him especially with women voters but with Trump talking about his successful tax cuts it still looks as if Iowa will be solid Trump. On the Democrat side, the race has gotten much closer between the top four candidates, Brown, Delaney, Obama and Biden. Biden made gains with white collar voters since Brown was moving farther to the populist left and lost those votes. Brown did make gains with the progressive and blue-collar voters after the Sanders endorsement. There is a rivalry brewing between the three progressive candidates Brown, Jeter, and Gillibrand who had large endorsements from progressives. Now lets look at the first results:

Republican Iowa Results (3.7%)
Donald Trump: 52.3%
John Kasich: 47.7%

Democrat Iowa Results (0.2%)
Sherrod Brown: 22.6%
Michelle Obama: 21.1%
Joe Biden: 20.9%
John Delaney: 15.3%
Kristen Gillibrand: 10.2%
Chealse Clinton: 4.7%
Derek Jeter: 4.1%
Juaquin Castro: 1.3%

America's Choice 2020: Iowa Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: The Republican race is started to become less close, Trump has started to pull away from Kasich as more conservative counties are coming in. The Democratic race is now within one percent and the former leader, Brown has drifted to third as more of the sub. of Des Moines are coming in

Donald Trump: 56.4%
John Kasich: 43.6%

Democrat Iowa Results (4.6%)

America's Choice 2020: Iowa Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: This race is just getting more and more interesting as more results are coming. In the Republican race, it has become much closer as the college town is coming in but Trump is still having a healthy margin. America's Choice 2020: Iowa Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: Sherrod Brown has regained his lead and then started to pull away from the other three candidates. Delaney, Obama, and Biden all are in a close three-way race for second but as more city votes come in then Biden could start to pull away since he was leading with white collar voters. We do have an announcement right now in the Republican primary, Trump has officially won the Republican Iowa Caucus.

Republican Iowa Results (57.6%)
Winner: Donald Trump: 55.7%
John Kasich: 44.3%

Democrat Iowa Results (43.9%)

America's Choice 2020: Iowa Caucus

Wolf Blitzer: At nearly midnight, the Iowa caucus is still unclear for the Democrats and there is a fifth challenger that has risen above 15%. Gillibrand had a sudden rise as more of the former Sanders territory came in which also helped Jeter and Brown. Biden is back in second but Delaney remains in the top three which has surprised many. Many people doubted Delaney and his campaign should already claim victory even if he falls to fourth. Trump has expanded his lead over his now, very viable, contender John Kasich. Many at the start of the campaign didn't see Kasich as a threat to Trump, thinking he would only garner 25% or less outside the north but tonight, I think it is still a victory for him who proved he will be a fierce challenger to President Trump. My belief is both have victories tonight, Trump won Iowa but Kasich had many wins throughout the night since most of the media underestimated him.

Republican Iowa Results (79.3%)
Winner: Donald Trump: 56.4%
John Kasich: 43.6%

Democrat Iowa Results (59.1%)
Sherrod Brown: 22.7%
Joe Biden: 16.8%
John Delaney: 16.5%
Michelle Obama: 16.4%
Kristen Gillibrand: 15.3%
Derek Jeter: 6.%

New Hampshire Election Night 2020: First Results

Anderson Cooper: In just two seconds the first results will be coming out of the curcial, first primary state of New Hampshire. On the Republican side, John Kasich is the only Republican left after Donald Trump suprisly quit the race. We do have word from the Trump campaign or should I say the former Trump campaign that he will adress the nation on his sudden exit within the next few days and wether he will offer an endorsment or not. Already people have started to talk about a potential enternacne of an anouther candidate like Mike Pence, Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz or Carly Fiorina who were all preping for runs but dediced against it earlier in the year.

On the Democratic side, it could be a very interseing race to watch. New Hampshire like in Iowa has become exerminly close within the last few days with both Biden and Jones having major bounces in the polls and because of Brown's win in Iowa the other day, he has seen a major boost. Both Obama and Jeter did see a small bump but both of them have their campaigns focused on other states. Without Delaney on the campaign trail, his campaign has fallen flat in New Hampshire which could hurt him later in the race. Castro has put all resources into Nevada which has given a small boost but still a bad night in New Hampshire could still hurt him badly.

Now here are our first results out of New Hampshire:

Official Democratic New Hampshire Results (0.3%)
Joe Biden: 25%
Sherrod Brown: 15%
Kristen Gillibrand: 13%
Michelle Obama: 13%
Doug Jones: 12%
Derek Jeter: 10%
Juaquin Castro: 7%
John Delaney: 5%

Official Republican New Hampshire Results (0.3%)
John Kasich: 64%
Write-In: 34%
Vermin Supreme: 2%
