Even heavily edited, friendly interviews are having trouble getting coherent responses of out Mr. Trump.

He was interviewed on Fox News' The Ingram Angle on 1/24 after attending an anti-abortion rally. (The interviewer was Raymond Arroyo, not Laura Ingram.)

Q: Before I get back to the pro-life, this major event, history making moment, the ABC News is reporting a recording of Lev Parnas, another Rudy Giuliani affiliate and you, purportedly, at the Trump Hotel from April of 2018 where you were quoted as saying of Marie Yovanovitch, the Ukrainian Ambassador, get rid of her, take her out -- OK, do it. Were you relying on Lev Parnas --

Trump: No, no.

Q: To get rid of your ambassador?

Trump: No, but I have a lot of people, and you know, he's somebody that, I guess, based on pictures that I see, goes to fundraisers. But I am not a fan of that ambassador, just so you understand. From what I understand, and I heard this a long time ago -- she wouldn't put my picture up. She was an Obama appointee, I believe, and she wouldn't put my -- my picture up.

Q: But were you telling Parnas to get rid of her? I mean, you have a State Department.

Trump: Well, I wouldn't have been saying that. I probably would have said -- it was Rudy there, or somebody -- but I make no bones about it, I want to have ambassadors -- I have every right, I want ambassadors that are chosen by me. I have a right to hire and fire ambassadors, and that's a very important thing. But even if you look at the conversation I had with the president, he didn't like her -- because in there, he didn't like her. So I don't know, I didn't hear this, but if they had it --

Q: It's breaking now, yeah.

Trump: I will tell you right now, I feel strongly that this is somebody that shouldn't be with us, she wasn't popular even in the country. And the new president who ran on a corruption --

Q: But Parnas might have been at a table you were at or at a function -- we don't know the --

Trump: Something -- could be, sure. But you have to understand, I would see -- I see thousands of people. I just left Florida where I was shaking hands, taking pictures with hundreds and hundreds of people in one night.

Hot Mic Picks Up Giggles On Fox News as Network Cuts Away from Trump Stumbling Over His Words at NJ Rally

During the 7:00 hour of its Tuesday night broadcast, the network had pre-empted The Story with Martha MacCallum to show parts of Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey. During a portion where he talked about his restrictionist immigration policies, the president again attacked Democrats for supporting sanctuary cities in the face of widespread deportations. And as he began to specifically target the opposition party, Trump, reading off a TelePrompTer, appeared to badly mangle the word “criminal” before simply abandoning the sentence.

“No American should ever be hurt, harmed, or killed because left-wing politicians, Democrats, decided shield and shelter crimin-cle — look, look, wait,” Trump said.

At that point, the audio feed of the broadcast clearly picked up the sound of laughter over a live microphone, suggesting the giggles came from somewhere in the Fox studio rather than ambient noise at the rally.

Only a second or two later, MacCallum broke in to segue Fox coverage away from the rally, but she did not address the audible giggles or their possible source and instead began to immediately turn to her panel of guests for comment. “Alright, we are watching the president in Wildwood, New Jersey,” MacCallum said in a brisk, business-like tone. “I want to get a quick comment before we toss it over to Tucker [Carlson.]”

And this is not his only verbal failure during this rally either Earlier, he did the same fumble and pivot when trying to say "witch" or "witch hunt".

That second link is cued, but it goes to the full video on Youtube. The NJ rally is shorter than normal - about an hour. And it features Mr. Trump giving the same teleprompter-driven, rote recitation performance that has been characteristic of his recent public speeches. The typical non-stop parade of lies is present, but impromptu deviations from script are minimal.

Donald Trump Sparks Dementia Rumors; POTUS Couldn’t Remember Mark Zuckerberg Meeting

Shortly after the POTUS commented on his meeting with Zuckerberg, CNN’s Daniel Dale claimed that Melania Trump’s husband is struggling to remember dates. This suggests that he could be suffering from dementia.

I don't think this speculation at IBT is particularly useful to diagnose Mr. Trump's level or type of failure, but it is another MSM drop in what I've long predicted will become a torrent of coverage of this topic well before November 3rd.

By far we're also proudly promoting American ethanol, and I recently approved E 15 to be use all year round biofuels. But the Socialist Democrats want to shut down American energy. They support representative Ocasio-Cortez, that's a real beauty. That's a beauty! I can't even believe it, but I don't want to knock it because the Green New Deal, which would crush your farms, destroy our wonderful cows.

I love cows, they want to kill our cows. You know why, right, you know why don't say they want to kill our cows. That means you're next and they want to wipe out totally Iowa ethanol. They want to wipe it out, but we will never let that side get it and by the way, that's the least of it, but I don't want to attack the Green New Deal because they might change it. I said to the other day, they said: what do you think of the Green New Deal?

Mr. Trump recently had a very friendly (and presumably edited for his benefit) interview with Sean Hannity. It is utterly incoherent. Half of the interview is just Hannity naming prominent Democratic politicians, and letting Trump ramble lies about them for a bit. Then it concludes with this utter word salad in response to a softball question:

Sean Hannity: You gotta learn to win, sometimes you don't always win. I know you're not sick of winning, is my guess, but also the harder you work, the better you do, that's very Americana. Um what do you love about sports?

Donald Trump: Well, it is. It's sort of a little bit of a microcosm of life. Ya know you have winners, you have champions, you have people that you expect to see that final play. You have great coaches like Belichick. You have people that you expect more out of, and often times they produce, but then you have people that you just don't expect they're gonna do it and often times they don't. As Mr. Trump clutched at his podium and listlessly read the tabloid talk-show inspired, lie-filled State of the Union, he  had a number of difficulties speaking, the most dramatic of which happened later in the reading, as he read how Iranian General Soleimani "directered the December desalt" while experiencing a full-body spasm.

Mr. Trump is obviously pretty good covering and recovering from these, which suggests they are happening often. There seems to be a least one every time he speaks at length in public. This is turn is likely why unscripted contacts with the press no longer occur.

If you compare his interviews from thirty years ago and how he talks now, you can see the difference. Back then he spoke in a pretty articulate way with full sentences. Now he frequently talks like a freaking child.

Oh boy. It's disturbing that so many took the OP's statement a fact. President Trump's doctors have decorated him healthy and have even done press conferences declaring such. In fact, the main doctor was surprised by just how healthy President Trump was.

About this fill sentences garbage, over the years President Trump has mastered the art of persuasion. Sometimes that means speaking in ways that are snore from conversation to add more imagery, take out unnecessary words, repeat oneself so the audience remembers, etc.
