Considering his campaign was already complaining about the debate topics, I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking for an excuse to back out.

It's probably still slightly more likely than not that he does the debate, but it's a close call.

TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim October 18 through October 24, 2020, as National Character Counts Week.  I call upon public officials, educators, parents, students, and all Americans to observe this week with appropriate ceremonies, activities, and programs.
