This second part is not directed at you, but it's truly amusing to hear so-called "true conservatives" whine about "corporate welfare" and the like, using phrases straight out of a Ralph Nader campaign...
Well, it seems to be an ideological sphere in the U.S. rather than a straight line, so as you go further right you begin to touch the liberal edges (conservatives promoting pot, fighting against corporate welfare, ect.)
