Well, that just shows my ability to predict things.  I was absolutely certain Jurassic World would be one of the biggest flops of all time (at least domestically).

Where we these 5,000 liberal footsoldiers when Mark Udall desperately need people to GOTV 8 months ago? What a joke.

I think the interwebs has called it.

2016 will be between Bernie Sanders as the Democratic nominee vs. Ron Rand Paul as the Republican nominee.

Hillary and Jeb should basically just quit after Atlas has spoken. That 5,000 person crowd at University of Denver speaks volumes of Sander's dominance.

If I offer you a free house, car boat, and pony as your human right, would you vote for me too?

One problem for Sanders is that he has little support outside the Latte Liberal left wing activist crowd. Obama was able to fuse together the activist base and added on African American support to win the primary. It was a close run thing, he even lost the popular vote.

Blacks and other minorities appear to be sticking with Hillary. Sanders will struggle to break out of the activist base. Atlas and Daily Kos are not even remotely close to the average Democrat.

Depends what tabulation of the popular vote you're looking at.

I agree with what you've said here for the most part though.

Yea Florida and Michigan broke the rules , but to be fair Obama would have lost Florida by maybe around 55-45 and Michigan by a similar margin as well. Both were good states for Hillary demographically.

Those losses still would have given him enough votes to win the nationwide popular vote though, I believe.

Whether Hillary or Obama technically won the popular vote is pretty irrelevant. The point is that it was close to a draw. Yet many people talk about the 2008 primary as if Obama completely demolished Hillary.

Right - the same folks who decided that Florida and Michigan should be disenfranchised.  Facts escape them.  Frankly, she won the popular vote and the Democrat delegates overturned it.  My opinion.

How many will turn up in WI next week, after 5000 in Denver and 4000 in Minneapolis ?

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders plans Madison rally next week

MADISON, Wis. — Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is coming to Wisconsin to host a town hall meeting in Madison.

The Vermont senator announced on his website that he plans to host an hour-long meeting on Wednesday night. Sanders is mounting an underdog campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican, is expected to officially launch his presidential campaign within days of Sanders' town hall.

On his website announcing the rally, the Sanders campaign says he intends to talk about getting big money out of politics, income inequality, combatting climate change and making college more affordable.

Sanders has been hosting similar town halls that have attracted large crowds in other liberal bastions across the country, including Minneapolis and Denver.

According to their website, the center where Sanders will speak has 10.200 seats.

That would be huge turnout for an insurgent campaign.

Seems like an obvious Clinton voter with those numbers. What would be outrageous is if an economic socialist/anti-war/anti-war on drugs Democrat supported Clinton over Sanders. Unfortunately, there are many of those.

IMO, this is Sanders' ABSOLUTE ceiling in the Democratic primary.

Green - Sanders
Red - Clinton

You do realize that if he wins both Iowa and New Hampshire he will be the front runner, and then have huge momentum, right?

This would be true if NH and IA Democrats weren't so white... Again: Even if Sanders won NH and IA, his hopes of winning the nomination would get crushed in SC and the rest of the South.

Nice prediction...but dude, you had NH in Bernie's column! Did you not think up the angry NH women theory yet? Tongue
